170k being about how much he sold the site for. I think he's roaming around Canada with a tractor trailer and picking up stray kittens and putting them in the back.

My guess is that Toronto mayor Rob Ford is actually a performance art installation secretly funded by Lack. --Andy

$170k does not seem unreasonable depending on how many premium paying customers this site has. 4,000 customers at $25 per is $100,000 of gross sales. A 1.7 multiplier would not be unreasonable.

Where you got the figure from aog? The big question is to know if el jefe made a profit after doing absolutely nothing to value the website.

the problem is the payroll, that i think consisted of 4 checks a month when el_jefe owned it, (he has to write himself a check to be serious). the hosting and then the canadian socialist taxes.. a 1.7 multiplier is more than reasonable, i think even a 3 multiplier would be reasonable to someone with the belief of making it grow..
im talking out of my ass, i have never bought a business lol

I'm pretty sure they don't sell peanut butter at the Cayman Islands branch of the Royal Bank of Canada

You'd be surprised at some of the things they sell.

I hope he doesn't hope to retire on 170k? I could help him spend it all on a pond if he is interested. Seriously though, how long would 170k last for you?

Depends on the expenditures. 5 years of getting high and drunk ought to do it. Turtle Power!
