Issue with Chatglove 1.6.18

Odd thing happening with Chatglove. It registers new chat on the left hand Game Chat on the Game Menu column, and when I click on it, it constantly links through to Game 13553742, even if there is more than one new chat entry registered. I've tried reinstalling the script, rebooting Firefox, rebooting the PC, but to no avail. Any ideas?

Issue might be resolved. I entered further chat in the game and the bug seems to have gone.

yea i noticed the same today. it maybe something how i made it handle snaps.
i guess you take snaps.
ill maybe look into it tomorrow. its 0420 right now XD
Known facts:
* even if you mark all chat as read it will appear again if you enter that game

I have the 1.7.0 version and I still have the same problem. Am I doing something wrong? :S
(Firefox 26.0).

(EDIT: uhm I now realize there is a new version of Firefox, 27.0. I'm updating it to see if it still happens).

(EDIT2: ok, it seems it's fixed now with Firefox 27.0, just in case anyone else has the same problem I had).

you may have to press mark all chats as read. because the if it was today Jan 31 the script said it was Feb 31 but there is no feb 31 so it goes to Mar 3 and then when its Feb 1 it said that it was Mar 1 but your newest chat was from Mar 3 but its Feb 1 today. so the saved chat history have to get reseted for the script to work properly again

Thanks, but I did (several times. I only posted here after some days with the same problem -but it wasn't until I looked at my FF version that I realized I needed an update there), and it was only fixed once I updated to FF 27.0.

EDIT: forget about that, I've just had the same problem again (clicked on "mark all chat as read" again). It seems there is a new version 1.7.1, so let's see if that fixes the problem.

Clicking game chat keeps taking me to the game invitations screen.

do you have invitations?
is does it say you have new chats?

Yes I have several invites I haven't accepted yet. It shows lots of unread chat, I mark all chat as read and then it returns for every game.

yea it looks like its jumping to inv when you got invs. i havnt tried when you have chats.

sorry i could not reproduce this.
are you using incognito mode or delete all your cookies? because it saves lates chat time and if you run incognito or deletes your cookies/whatever chatglove losses its data

No none of that. Now I have no waiting games. Clicking game chat doesn't so anything at all now. Just sits still despite showing lots of chat to go to.

have you put so it clears history when you close the browser?
is it a high number of chats or just a few games?

"New chat" warning (even if there is no new chat) in all of my games, or most of them (is not always in all of my games, but in most of them). Right now I have 19 active games.
I don't use private browsing mode, and it doesn't clear history when I close the browser. I use Firefox 27.0 (I've just updated to 27.0.1).

I also have "Watch this game", BOB, "Speed Turns" and "Map Rank" features.
I don't use the new CC Panel Interface.

Ok, I'll try to use the new interface for a while to see if it works there.

(Oh, I forgot. Just in case: I also use the "PM team" tool).

So far I'm not having any fake "new chat" warning with the new interface enabled.
I'll keep it a bit more to make sure it's that (1 more day or 2). Then I'll disable it, as I don't like at all that new interface : P

yea i havnt checked it with bob or without panels.
but i think bob should be the culprit. because its still gets the chats without panels.

and panels are good. tho the panel interface is just bob that has been integrated to the site. with the possibilities to move around the interface
