Last night I guess I was too tired, and sunny nukes games were sent out flat rate foggy.

This morning the mistake has been corrected and the correct games have been sent out.

I deleted four of the five incorrect games, but one had unfortunately already started.

Emquis missed 1 round of invites. Normally I would send another, but emquis has also missed invites in other tournaments of mine and I believe he is AWOL from CC. Therefore I won't bother with the technicality and will proceed directly to elevating our one reserve:

Perhaps if you try this format in the future (and i hope you do), it would be an idea for Presov if you own it from the drop and no one takes it from you by the time it gets down to 2 players then you get the 'capture' point. Otherwise, the player who is dropped on Presov is exempt from being able to win that particular point. That's a bit of a double wammy since that tert that is the immediate target of everyone in the game. Of course, you would still have to post in the chat that you won the Presov capture point.

As I mentioned in my pm, none of this is remotely a complaint or criticism and is merely a suggestion for you to use however you see fit. Nothing about the present situation is unfair, as we all knew the rules entering this tourney.

A couple of queries have revealed that the rules could be tightened up.

1.

For the capital bonuses ... do we need to capture the capital and hold for an entire round, or just capture the capital and post to chat that same turn?

Yes, a capture is enough. You do not need to hold for one round. Just get your army through the gates!

That is the rule. It is not a change, but rather a clarification.

I tend to agree. Therefore, I'm willing to make this rule change, if there seems to be a general consensus in favour, starting with the second batch of 3 maps. I'll send a PM to all players, and if a general consensus emerges (not perfect agreeement, but a lot more in favour than against) we will implement that change. To be clear, it will imply that starting with the fourth game, "if you own Prešov from the drop and no one takes it from you by the time it gets down to 2 players then you get the 'capture' point."

Yeah, I think the special case would be only if you drop it and successfully hold until the 2-player point.

If you lose it then it goes to the person who took it, in the normal fashion.

I think if we were completely truthful, many of us would have to admit that we were completely asleep at the wheel starting this tourney. I for one, fully understood the rules and was attracted to this tourney because of them, but my first 3 turns I was parked next to the Capitals and they were the last thing on my mind. I'm rotted. I threw away big points.

The funny thing is that so did everyone else. I got a second crack and they were all available on all my games. Too funny. I think some people were afraid to post, thinking they were doing something wrong. To be truthful, when I didn't see any other posts i thought i had something screwed up.

At the end of the day, i still think that is one of the fun things about these types of tourneys; watching people screw up the rules and the funny things we all do.
