[GON 2nd mafia game] The townies won

Both CHECK and TC have made the point that Mafia members can be silent, sit back,and not draw suspicion. MAYBE this is the case.

Since this is my first game, and my role is NOT Mafia, I do not know.

However, if the role of Mafia ALLOWED that, then the game would NOT work. Mafia especially must talk and leave clues or else this game goes NOWHERE. If find that argument by TC and CHECK invalid.

Additionally, (and I am repeating this): many players are new to this game and the early pages of NO REAL good chatter has 1) confused newbies like me; 2) made the game less interesting; 3) caused many to NOT comment or participate. The first 10 pages on this game were (with few exceptions) a waste of my time and energy. I almost quit day one. Irrelevant comments on football and other topics caused this game to drag on needlessly.

I have read where some said they posted 1) even though they are not sure of what is going on, 2) are posting because they have been prodded, 3) ultimately, to avoid being lynched because of lack of posts and comments.

I agree with Mike. Our next lynch needs to come from the group of current participators. I am not ruling out fringe participators like El Super. He comes around once in a blue moon to give a half baked defense of himself, and that seems suspicious.
Personally, with Moo stating that he did not assign mafia to vets only, I wouldn't mind getting a claim out of Check. He has been all over the map.

For now I am standing by my vote for DB4.

TheCrown is near the top of my list of suspects too. Although he has disappeared (kidnapped? in hiding? drunk and no one can contact him?), TC is still dangerous and can re-appear in the game. Disappearing may take some heat and suspicion off him, but he does not appear innocent. I think he tried to manipulate the votes and his arguments seems to have persuaded some. King Edward 3rd on Sat Dec 21, 2013 12:18 pm laid out that case rather well on TC's manipulation and persuasive nature.

I am not convinced by the other voters for day 2. I have not seen a compelling reason to vote for those others.

I like to hear from those who have not posted lately; let's get some discussion of likely suspects.

My post that jussplay4fun is talking about is on pg. 38. The very next post Esuper jumps in & changed my words in my post to try to make me look scummy. I think that was to take the heat off TC again. I explained my post & what Elsuper had done on pg. 40. On pg. 46 Tuffy questioned me about why I didn't care whether we voted czar or Akamiro. I told him to read pg. 40 & then he said he was sorry & he understood what I meant. Then he gets killed that night. Now TC is pointing a finger at me. I didn't think his explanation of what happened to him was very convincing. I looked through TC's post & he never claims he's a townie but he led us to believe he is by taking the lead. If TC read pg. 40 like I told him to do when he put me on the top of his suspect list why didn't he explain what I laid out about him. I think I was right about TC, Elsuper & a few others. I also think that TC might be the God Father & they got him out of town the 1st night to save him. I think TC is the one that needs to be forced into claiming like he & his mafia thugs has been doing to others !!!!! If after you read all the things I've brought up If you still have any doubts about my role I'll claim it.

I also asked Sirius how to bring multiple quotes to my post & he tried to explain it to me but as some of you know I'm computer impaired & couldn't figure it out so sorry you have to go back to the pages I was talking about. If someone that knows how to do that agrees with what I'm saying would post them It might help.

I can lay down some scummy things I saw about King Ed, but truthfully, I don't have a whole lot. He has stayed under the radar by being off in a couple of side-bar arguements that no one really paid much attention to. I guess I want a claim out of him because of the few scummy things I saw, and that he is pretty much unknown. As you all saw from my long post a ways back, I have a lot of good feelings about a lot of the people, but there were about 5 or 6 that I didn't mind getting a claim out of.

My intent would be to get a claim from King Ed, and then either Cump or CHECK (because it was suggested).

CHECK has me a bit stumped, his defending DB4, which is a non-scummy thing to do, unless he was just trying to make an ally and throw us off. Is he better at this game than he leads us on? I don't know, that's giving a Dolphins fan a lot of credit for such cleverness.

By the way, looking back on my lists, I had a note about my thoughts on Tuffy (Town Cop), even though he said a couple of scummy things, he was "helpful"

I guess no one wants to test Killum and his claim as mason. If there was no other mason out there, then we would have scum.

King E - I feel your frustration. I wasn't there but I remember reading reports of what happened in Vanilla Town. After day 2, everything supposedly moved quickly and people started to figure out who was whom. That doesn't seem to be happening here. But, maybe the reports I read were all wrong. Hard to believe what you read anymore.

There are a few people that I know which side of the scum line they stand/stood. But most are now gone. I am sure that I'm a townie. I am sure that DB is a townie. Beyond that it goes downhill quickly. I originally was comfortable how some people voted the same as Crasp but I don't see consistency, so I can't make a firm decision. My investigative skills aren't as good as a cop. If they were, I guess I'd be where Tuffy is now.

Perhaps, TC can share why he is convinced certain people are townie?

Here is some of my thoughts on this matter. On pg.12 after he got 3votes, TC comes up with a list of suspects & an oversight of the game. I think that was to take the heat off of him. From then on TC suggested who to look at & people followed. When DB got close to be lynched it changed to kill & then when he spoke it changed to Ragot & we all know what happened to him!!!! I think mafia is putting suggestions out there & seeing who will follow so they can lynch by day. further down on pg. 12 Gabsensei calls TC out by saying [ I can see what your doing you know and its working with most of the people but to me your not talking enough] What did he mean by that statement??? 3 posts later Gab. unvotes TC & votes DB. Now on day 2 the 1st vote is made by Gab. with a list of suspects like TC. had. I'm a new player but this looks like a pattern. So if the town wants to be controlled by the mafia so be it. It really doesn't matter to me if you people kill each other off !!!!!!

I posted this about 30 hrs. ago & Gab. still hasn't said what he meant by the statement that's in quotes so for that reason IvoteGabsensei

People asked for a list and Gab provided one as requested. DB gave a couple lists and and a pattern to look for, I found one and posted it. You have not provided any useful information or insight all you have done is called people out for no good reason that I can see and point fingers. Then you say "It really doesn't matter to me if you people kill each other off !!!!!!" that is the scummiest thing I have read yet. Only Mafia would want us towns people to kill each other off.

No I think Tuffy questioned him & it says that the Godfather usually seems innocent to the cop. So then they knew who he was & killed him. Then they got TC out of town somehow or for some reason they hid him. I haven't figured that out yet. If you read my post what I thought TC was doing & now he's rushing people to vote again to get people to claim. the same thing he did the 1st day & Ragot got hung. So I'll say it again if the townies want to be controlled by the mafia, so be it I can't stop that from happening if no one believes me & starts voting for TC to get him to claim then I guess the town will hang me too, which as I've said it won't benefit the town or the mafia if I'm hung or shot. so pick the tree or the gun & let's get this over with. At least I'm talking not like the other two who got hung.

What checks says is a bit misleading; If there is not a majority vote, then the leading vote getter is the one lynched (CORRECT?). Time does NOT run out in the sense that someone will get lynched and a majority is NOT needed. I would like Sirius to confirm this point. I am quoting here to be sure of this point.

i am re-reading page 46, trying to understand and ran across this minor issue.

ok I vote czar richard I vote him because he is one of the ones that hasn't spoken yet and if he is townie at least we aren't losing much. He is one of the 4 that hasn't spoken since the holidays that has already been voted for at least once. So lets string up one of them. He gets my vote and I'm not changing unless he starts talking and claims. Then I will go to one of the others on that list of people who haven't talked. Lets get together and string someone up before we run out of time.
