Yeah, so do I.notyou2 wrote:I publicly post the challenge on here as well as send my opponent a PM.

Yes...we have never had a problem with a person's integrity on the Ladder (knock on wood)...MGSteve wrote:I usually just drop a line on their wall to let them know I'm challenging them as soon as I have the games set and my challenge posted here. That or pm either is fine. Main thing is to have it posted here. It's a really great group of people and I doubt you'll ever have a problem with needing any proof.

Nope...I leave everything in case I need to find some documentation on a match...what are you looking for?ganguscalm wrote:hmmm ? ... can't find my last post in 10 pages , someone clean house ??

Yeah, it's just something we had in the Medal Heads 1v1 Ladder days. And it actually did end up being needed when a forfeit was needed once, so I just thought it's better to be safe than sorry.iAmCaffeine wrote:Yeah, I don't expect to have any trouble really, it was just a precaution I thought about since Leehar mentioned it.

Macbone and I have talked about this...a lot. The SoC Ladder was created for SoC students, teachers, and admins to have a place to work on their 1v1 skills. Even though there are no teachers for the 1v1 and no advice is given, we wanted to keep it "contained" (for lack of a better word) in a "controlled environment".Leehar wrote:Yeah, it's just something we had in the Medal Heads 1v1 Ladder days. Also btw celiotti, do you think it may be better to create separate threads for these Queries? I don't want the discussions to detract from the more placid game recording!
Specially since I was actually thinking it may be worth asking Dhallmayer to advertise the ladder on the Home Page? It could certainly expand involvement in the SoC?

I have defeated asbks in 2 of the 3 games so far (3rd still pending but definitely leaning his way). I know a few other people want a crack at me, but I'd like to request a brief vacation now that this challenge is effectively complete. I have a baby due to be born any day now, and I'm likely to be away for a good day or two. At most, this should be a two week vacation from the ladder, but I'm expecting less than a week.Doc_Brown wrote:My home game: Game 13182865
