Can I just invite an opponent to the games or do they need to accept my challenge? I realise I could invite and then they could decline, but that would be a waste of time.

Sorry, Leehar...we had this happen during the beta-testing where someone called their victory early and wanted to challenge someone else. The "loser" came back and won the match and it created a lot of confusion.

You need to wait until you have won both games before we can record the match.

iAmCaffeiene, you have to post your challenge on the thread AND send that player a PM with the challenge. Once you post the challenge/send the PM, then go ahead and create your games. The challenger will accept the match with the invite or they will post a reason why they cannot accept. The only two acceptable reasons for delaying a match are: 1. Freemium (and they don't have a free slot right now). 2. They are on vacation (in which case, it would have been noted on the Ladder anyway).

If you challenge someone and they do not respond within 7 days, then it's a forfeit for you.

No worries, I'd be amazed if they did come back from being 200 troops behind, but I suppose anything can happen with risk :)

Otherwise, how can you confirm a pm has been sent? That's why I bcc'd you to my pm's because otherwise it could just be a he said/she said scenario when forfeits are at stake?

Rule #3 applies...If there is no post in thread for the challenge, it is not legit.
