In the OP you state that beta maps cannot be used, you then go on to list all of the current beta maps. Would I be right in thinking that if a map comes out of beta during the tournament then it can be used. If that is indeed the case then it might be clearer if you didn't name maps individually.

No for this event if a beta comes out it can't be used until next event. If any come out of beta before we start I will take it off the list. Otherwise for the duration of the tournament it won't be allowed.

Matches can be negotiated, yes. As an organizer I would appreciate keeping round limits if it is. However, if it isn't used then it will be allowed unless it seems to be holding up the event. If it appears to be holding the event up, then it'll get changed to a "no". The intent of this event is to be rather quick.

I know there's the opinion out there, and for other events I would definitely consider it. For this one, my preference is no trench. If its individually negotiated, then I would watch carefully to make sure its not holding up other wars (IE, everyone is completed except a war that used trench).

The main problem you'll find with time is if we get drawn against a mostly american clan and we get the classic one turn per day due to time zones. Always a bugger that one. lol

TFFS is in support of trench being an option. Just throwing that out there if you get more people that may sway your opinion and also so that if our future opponents see this, we can negotiate on it.
