I'd stick with CC. Laptop/Puter users can simply see their local time. Hardly anybody knows what CC time is.

I have a nativist preference for the American way, but I can see putting it in international form. The thing is it's as big a deal when something says "May 02, 2013" when it says 5/2/13.

I know there's talk among the developers of moving it over to the right of the Home|Instructions|Scoreboard|etc. stuff. Given that space might be an issue over there, perhaps it should be put in a more international but shortened format. I would recommend: 2013/05/02 15:24:37. Even us dumb Americans could figure out that means May 2 and not Feb. 5

Using a format like 02/05/2013 has the exact reverse consequence of confusion but the victims would be the Americans who make up over half of the site's users.

In the United States we post things like this> Month Day then Year
But in some other countries it is Day then Month and Year.
This could be VERY Confusing... But by Using letters for the Month... Dec, Jan, Sept etc. this would not be a problem. and the date can be placed Under the Clock in say 12 pt type so as not to take up too much space.

Look... You have a wrist watch, wall clock and even a clock on your cell phone and at the bottom left of your computer screen tell you what your Local time is.

This is about a LIVE CC WAR CLOCK that puts CC as ONe UNIVERSAL TIME ZONE and DISPLAYS THAT TIME AND DATE.

So in Australia you do it right too? Is there any place in the world other than the US where people lack of logic and write month/day/year? like if in some country they wrote hours/seconds/minutes...

Well, my response would've been "takes up too much space." But I didn't make it here in time. Now we have at least one user that I've seen complaining about the clock overflowing onto the buttons at top when using mobile browsers. (You can try this at home by (1) Getting adult supervision and then (2) Resizing your screen.) I hope that problem is limited to a small number of users. As a laptop user, I'm happy with the new feature.

If space is an issue for a lot of users, I would suggest:

YY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS CCST

That's about as short as you can make it without omitting reference to Conquer Club, plus I just made up a new time zone.

Either that or bounding the time in a cell, so that it is not allowed to overlap the "Help" cell but instead extends the width of the page.

Tell the guy who was having the problems with it on his cell phone that the problem is dust inside matrix... he needs to carfully open the back and clean the connections with a tooth brush and Listerine then carefully reassembling. That should fix his problem....

There is a bug with this. The time is permanently pinned to the right and the links at the top (Home, Instructions, etc.) are permanently centered. If the screen is smaller, like on a cell phone or on a browser that isn't taking up the full screen, the time overlaps with the the links.
