I have asked KraphtOne if he is going to purchase premium again. If he is not, or if I do not hear from him, a randomly chosen teammate will take his place.kizkiz wrote:missing one player from all my last games

I hope none of their opponents have something in stake otherwise its unfair (mostly when you see that many games are being played absolutely for nothing)sempaispellcheck wrote:Sorry to see you go, but if that's your wish, thank you for letting me know.SaviorShot wrote:I'm dropping this tourney sorry
This means that Team Malawi is now down to one player, and since you can't play doubles with one player, Team Malawi hereby forfeits its 3 remaining Show Jumping games and its 6 remaining Synchronized Swimming Games.
For each Show Jumping game, Malawi will be given 4 faults and their opponents 0.
For each Synchronized Swimming game, Malawi will be given 0 points and their opponents the maximum score of 18.
This applies only to games that did not start or from which a player deadbeats.

I doubt it will prove to have that big of an impact - all told, only 2 Show Jumping games were forfeited.betiko wrote:I hope none of their opponents have something in stake otherwise its unfair (mostly when you see that many games are being played absolutely for nothing)sempaispellcheck wrote:Sorry to see you go, but if that's your wish, thank you for letting me know.SaviorShot wrote:I'm dropping this tourney sorry

they are playing cameroun and brunei whoare very much in the race for winning the synchronized swimming event; you are awarding these 2 the max points which is almost impossible to get, so yes, they are getting an unfair advantage to win the synchronized swimming event. what do you mean only 2 show jumping games were forfeited, you just said all 3 show jumping and 6 synchrized swimming?sempaispellcheck wrote:I doubt it will prove to have that big of an impact - all told, only 2 Show Jumping games were forfeited.betiko wrote:I hope none of their opponents have something in stake otherwise its unfair (mostly when you see that many games are being played absolutely for nothing)sempaispellcheck wrote:Sorry to see you go, but if that's your wish, thank you for letting me know.SaviorShot wrote:I'm dropping this tourney sorry

fair enough, but you did say in your previous post that you were awarding max points in the synchronized swimming event for all of malawi's opponents (including 2 that were fighting for the title); so I reacted to that statement, I had no reason to go verify if something changed as you didn't anounce it. Forfeits on show jumping have never been an issue as none of these games have incidence on event/overall win. If the games with something in stake are played it's all good, otherwise you would agree that it would have altered the competition.sempaispellcheck wrote:First, minor point: it's Cambodia, not Cameroon.
Second, and more importantly, if you search for Malawi's Pentathlon games (game label "MAW"), you will see that Team Malawi's games against those two teams filled and started.
Therefore, those games WILL NOT be forfeited and will be scored normally according to their results, since I have said that ONLY games that did not start or from which a Malawi player deadbeats will be forfeited.
The only games that Malawi forfeited by not filling were their Show Jumping games against Sierra Leone and Sri Lanka, who are not in contention for the Show Jumping title.
