Clickable maps is being blocked by popup dialogs

Operating System: Win XP
Browser: Firefox 20.0.1
Scripts/third party programs used: Greasemonkey, BOB

Concise description: In some of my games, it only appears to be a subset of the maps, the clickable maps feature no longer allows me to click on a terit, as that's being interrupted by the popup dialogs that explain left click to deploy, attack, right click to advance 0 troops, etc. Those popups used to appear harmless up towards the top of the map, but are now appearing right in the area where you need to click to select the terit. I also noticed that on those same games/maps, the BOB snapshot buttons are now appearing below the map, and the Round NN label is appearing over on the right hand side with game stats.

I've seen another post in the Q&A section of a user also experiencing this, so it's looking like it might be more widespread? I just noticed it early Sunday morning when taking my turns -- has something changed between Sat and Sun?

This is an issue with BOB and an update not syncing exactly right. It works fine if you turn BOB off.

Now that I know some of the change in moving the BOB buttons has to do with the addition of the advertisements for freemiums ... I'm wondering if that messed up where the BOB popup dialogs are now appearing?

Well, whatever the reason, BOB is now unusable. Win7 Firefox 20.0.1, BOB 5.2.4, Greasemonkey 1.8 here.

For me, some maps work fine and some maps do not. If I see the snapshot buttons are above the map (the normal location for me), the map is good. If the snapshot buttons are below the map, the popup makes it hard to deploy, attack, move troops, fort, etc. Turning BOB off, taking my turn, turning BOB on, and then taking a snapshot seems like the best workaround for me.

Some of the variation comes from tournament games vs. non-tournament games, but yes, it looks like BOB needs an update.

Super unusable! Ditching BOB for now.

I'm seeing the moved buttons in non-tourney games which is annoying, but no problems with clickable maps or other features of BOB. So, these problems aren't universal.

I think I may have stumbled on to a "workaround" ... changing the BOB setting to move the chat to the top seems to have repositioned the popups so they don't interfere with the clickable maps functionality. It's taking a little getting used to, but I think I could get accustomed to having the chat as the first thing I see on the game/map page. Seems to be working in my regular games and in the tournament games.

Oh, I always have chat on top, so perhaps that is why I have not seen the problem, but then again, I never see the popups, so I'm not sure what the whole story is.

The pop ups are the "deploy x troops", "attack from here", "reinforce x troops", these have covered the terit since the update making clicking on the terit to deploy/ attack from/ reinforce from/to a very miss, miss, miss, hit, miss, miss process. Chat on top helps immensely!

Yeah, I haven't had any issues with BOB or Clickable maps, but I run it with chat up top and the popups off.

I moved the chat up top, and the popups are no longer a problem -- I've been looking around for where to turn off the popups, and haven't found that option yet?

All right, folks, I have a version of BOB which seems to fix the snapshot button positioning issue. I am hoping that it helps with the tooltips as well. I don't have access to the userscripts.org account, so I cannot update the "GET BOB" link in the first post. However, you can try this version of the script and let me know how things work. If it goes well, we can see about fixing that link. So, here it is:

This problem came back again. It is really annoying especially when reportedly more than 50% of premium members use BOB.

I changed the BOB setting to put the chat window up top, and haven't had any problems since with the popups getting in the way. Did you try that option?
