You are a Cthulhu, one of the Great Old Ones, trapped beneath the seas for untold eras, you await release from your tomb to rise again and face your ancient enemy Hastur, Lord of the Interstellar Spaces.
I order to be freed from your prison, you either need more followers, or access to the famed Necronomnicon’s rituals.
Abilities:
Send Deep Ones: Send deep ones to a player, if they have the nerconomnicon, you will be freed
(Sealed power, must be released first) you can kill one player per night.
One Shot Unlynchable OR One shot bulletproof: used instantly should you be killed by said means
Completely immune to nightkills performed by normal human means.
You Win if you can destroy your half-brother Hastur before being destroyed or banished yourself
Mod notes: Sending deep ones against humans has a 25 percent chance of driving them insane, kills cannot be blocked
Hastur (1 player)

You have spent many a night at the potter’s field, digging up the dead and slowly improving upon the formula, but the specimens aren’t fresh enough to get desirable results. You are so very close, just a few more fresh bodies and the reanimation formula will be complete…
Abilities:
You may communicate with each other at night
Once per night, each of you may choose a target, if your target is human and is killed that night, you will reanimate them before anyone even noticed they are gone.
You win if you can save “save” four people
Mod Notes: upon winning and perfecting reanimation, colleague becomes regular doc, Herbert becomes reviver, both unaligned with any faction.
Zombie (side effect of being saved by Re-animator)

Black Brotherhood Leader (1 player)
You are the leader of the Black Brotherhood, an organization dedicated to giving rise to the Great old ones.
You have recently gotten a hold of the famed Necronomnicon, and can now hasten the return of these gods.
Ability: can release sealed gods by targeting them at night
You win if all Great Old Ones are unsealed, you do not have to be alive when this happens, but you will lose if any elder god is destroyed before being unsealed.
Mod notes: if killed, nerconomnicon is given to killer, if lynched necronomnicon given to random human.
If Hastur and Cthulhu are unsealed, gains normal human powers
Nyarlathotep (1 player)
You are Nyarlathotep; the Crawling Chaos, the God of a Thousand Forms.
The only Outer God currently walking the earth, sowing chaos and plotting on humans for your amusement.
You appear in many shapes, most of which bring mind-shattering horror to lesser beings, but one that you use frequently is that of a dark Egyptian pharaoh-like man, with this form you play your strange alien devices, drawing followers deep into madness.
Abilities
Cult recruiter: can recruit humans into your cult, but will die if targeting an unsealed elder god
Immune to death by normal human means
You win if cult outnumbers the total of non-recruited players, you do not have to survive to achieve this.
Mod Notes: Recruited humans receive 75% chance of insanity, Yithians in Human bodies can be recruited, Humans in Yithian bodies cannot, zombies can.
Normal human (9 players)
You are a “normal” human, forces beyond your comprehension will soon descend upon this world, lurking terrors and ancient cult will make their moves; how you deal with this is up to you.
Right now, all you want to do is survive, perhaps this is enough, perhaps you want to be part of something greater though, banishing the mysterious creatures, or embracing and spreading the unknown.
Abilities
Worship X: you may use this ability at any time day or night, but only once, this ability cannot be blocked and does not use up a night action, you will permanently* tag yourself onto player X’s win condition, you will not know what this condition is, and they will not be aware you follow them, but if they achieve their win condition you win, regardless of whether you live or die.
*unless I inform you of a new win condition

You currently win if you can survive until endgame, you can change your win condition one time only by using the “worship” ability
Mod notes: kill attempts have a 50% chance of working on humans, 25% chance of working on aliens, 0% chance of working on Gods.
Humans who willingly worship another player are tagged as “Normal Human with unknown alignment” upon death, unaligned humans are tagged as “Normal Unaligned Human”, those recruited by cult are referred to as “Cultist Human”, and those driven insane are noted as such in each case.
Worshipers will be informed of their win condition if the “root” of that condition dies, and the win condition is still achievable.

Shoggoth
You are a Shoggoth, the amorphous ancient creation of the Elder Things, originally willless slaves, over time mutation gave your race their own minds. You rose up against the Elder Things, but were eventually overpowered, more of your kind were taken down to the deep with their masters when the ice age force the Elder Things into hiding, but you were among those that remained on land, making your own society.
For eons you and your kind bided their time, but now the Elder Things return to land for some purpose, you feel it is necessary to destroy them before you once again fall under their control.
Power: You can kill one player per night.
You win if the Elder Things are exterminated, you do not have to survive to achieve this.
