well FT...you know, some people just can't help themselvesFunkyterrance wrote:I don't get the lighting complaint? I feel like even if there were different angles of light it would fall into the whole "jewel" theme anyways. I have to say I just don't see a problem and I am one picky SOB.

Thank-you isaiah 40, and a Merry Xmas to you also,isaiah40 wrote:Merry Christmas!!

Not liking them. Try to lower the opacity on them. The sparkles are only light and should be able to see through them.cairnswk wrote:Version 29
Sparkles on the diamonds

Opacity lowered to 80% with ADD transaparency operation...any lower than that and they become invisible.koontz1973 wrote:Not liking them. Try to lower the opacity on them. The sparkles are only light and should be able to see through them.cairnswk wrote:Version 29

the numerous abbreviation dots remain a minor irritant, though i can live with them. the only suggestion i have is to remove the dots, in the fashion of Qld for queensland, NSW for new south wales and UK for united kingdom.cairnswk wrote:I don't think it is untidy. and since most often that is the way abbreviations are noted...i think they're OK.iancanton wrote:must u have the dots in the abbreviations for the inner suburbs? they make the centre of the map a bit untidy.
ian.
otherwise do you have an alternative suggestion ?

Shame i can't pull you up for not having picked these up long ago...and why they're not all given at once rather than in dribs and drabs.iancanton wrote:i'm going to pull u up on spelling again!
This one is a reading error from the other map - the close font letters are repsonsible.sevemoe tushino ought to be severnoe tushino.
Changed.tverskoe is tverskoy,
Fixed.segovoy is almost certainly begovoy,
yes if you look at google...but who says google is correctwhile presnensoe is probably presnenskiy.
the text for mostilmovskiy isn't lined up properly on the small map, so that the second mo is slightly higher than the v that follows it.
No, Meschanskiye is correct...according to googlei suspect that meshchanskoye is actually meshchanskoe if u use the same transliteration method as for the other names that have the -skoe ending.
ian, let's not keep going round in circles with the dots. I want them there, you can live with that, so let's get over your minor irritation.the numerous abbreviation dots remain a minor irritant, though i can live with them. the only suggestion i have is to remove the dots, in the fashion of Qld for queensland, NSW for new south wales and UK for united kingdom.cairnswk wrote:I don't think it is untidy. and since most often that is the way abbreviations are noted...i think they're OK.iancanton wrote:must u have the dots in the abbreviations for the inner suburbs? they make the centre of the map a bit untidy.

That's good enough for me.koontz1973 wrote:No worries FT, you got to see the perfect ones. Well done cairns.

NO, i wrote you that Moscow was wrapped up...remember this in the PM i sent you....nolefan5311 wrote:cairns, are you waiting on me to post the XML? It says the attachment above has been deactivated, or something weird.
It is awaiting checking in the xml thread.Moscow is dusted and ready for checking,

Fixed in below adjustment Gilligan, thanks.Gilligan wrote:Hello (again) cairns, and nole:
1) Meshchanskiy on map, Meshchanskoye in XML (not going to guess which is right,) Same with inner territory.
2) This is only a matter of preference, but regarding the bonus Tsentralny, perhaps put this: Tsentralny Without Inner Ring instead of just Without Inner Ring. Same with Inner, but again it's a matter of preference...I think it'd be weird to see "Gilligan received 8 armies for holding Without Inner Ring", just a bit awkward.
Other than that, looks good.
