so we won round 1 fair and square, but CoF was frighten and appointed some TOFU shitters to replace that team so that we have to play round one again?! well, no matters, we will beat them too... then we will beat another of CoF replacement teams, and another, and another... we are coming, and there is nothing you can to do stop us! eventually we will get to you, and then you will cry like a little girl!

yeah you won round 1 fair and square, but you frightend away that team, they did not accept my invites, I think I sendt them 4 times, and also sendt a couple pm's, so then I decided to withdraw that team, and then cof and a couple others suggested I should look for a replacement team, and I agreed since without it the ga medal would not be fair for everyone, hell the tourney would not be fair either..

so that was the best solution for everyone

4th round will be 3-0 for us...
but we do have repeated round 1 against COFs second team(or how do you call them, TOFU2?). we pretty much destroyed them, but Dako is fixing the rolls(oh, the attacks they had ), so they still might slip through our fingers... i just hope rolls or cards would not decide against our supreme strategy... we won one already, and have 1 player advantage in other, but that one is Duck and Cover and everything might change if they continue getting lucky

Aye, cheers Betiko. Looks like there are a few front runners in this tourney - should get interesting.

Not sure about anyone else, but are these settings and games the most fun (and taxing) you've played in a long while? I've always liked nukes anyway, but with this format it has heightened the enjoyment. I'm loving these games.

no probs! yeah in group A it's all about our team vs OTP now that they've beaten tofu 2, even if tofu 2 can still win all their other matchups straight... but for this would be good if they get at least the invites for round 2 asap. group 2 winner might wait ages for our group to be over!

in group B there is still TOFU, TNC and WAR with a clean sheet, although WAR vs TNC is being played and still undecided with 1-1

yeah this format is fun, it's less fun when you have to take the decisions on where to drop with your team as you're always afraid of what the opponent did!

Although the games against WAR vs TNC is not over officially, it is over really. TNC has all players still in play with only one WAR player left trapped in a corner surrounded by over 80 troops.
The last standing player on WAR is in fact Kingm, but he has no chance, and it's just a matter of time now.

Thanks King, invites received. Just a note for your own info, the replacement team have already played Rounds 1 & 2 so your invites to them will be for the 3rd Round (not the 2nd Round). If you give them Rounds 3 & 4 then they will only be 1 round behind (and can catch up by doing Rounds 5 & 6 when you create Round 6 for everyone else).

When I sendt out invites for round 4, I sendt them invites for round 1 aswell (orelse 1 team would end up playing 0 games that round), and this round I gave them round 5 and round 2.. next time they will get round 3 and 6..

and regarding the ga medal, thats how I will count there streak, that was realy the best way to make it fair for everyone imo..

Maybe I should clearify this (thought I had done it earlier, but I am not sure ).

Lets say the replacement team (with Keanu Reeves as there QB ), wins both rounds last time (number 1 and 4), and wins both this round (2 and 5), but wins only 1 next time (lest say the loose number 3, and win 6), then they will have a winstreak of 3 (round 4-5-6).. and not a streak of 4 like they otherwise would have had..

thought about this for a while after we got a new team, and I have to say I think I came up with the best option..

Ah OK, gotcha. Clever lad So in essence the replacement team are always playing the current round + one round 'catch-up'. Makes perfect sense, as does your method to count the winning streak for them.

Looks like we just lost another team, 1 player from team 1 in group 2, sendt me a PM where he said that he wanted out, because they team does not play well together, and he thought another member also wanted out..
So I sendt a PM to the 2 remaining members, asking if they had a couple of replacement players in mind, but I have not heard back from them, and they declined theire invites..
and I know atleast one of them wore online, because he accepted invites in another tourney of mine yesterday..

so like I said, Houston we got a problem.
and this is realy starting to get frustrating..

it atleast looks like they lost all there 4 rounds.

anyone got any good ideas, should I just scratch the team?
or look for another replacement team, but it would take for ages, if they have to play all the rounds, so IMO it would be best just to scratch them..

Damn, what a nuisance. Why do people join tourneys and then drop out? It ruins it for everybody. There should be a blacklist.

Not sure what you do to resolve this. Scratch may be the simplest. The other teams in Group 1 are probably more qualified to speak than I am as it affects them more.
