Congrats to Team 5: catnipdreams and masterfenrir for winning the tournament!
IMPORTANT RULE CHANGE...12 HOUR FOG RULE NOW IN EFFECT.
1) the team that has first turn waits 12 hours before starting the turn. 2) if the team going second indicates that they have a snap, the first turn may be taken sooner without penalty. 3) if the first turn is taken before either 12 hours has elapsed, or the other team has indicated they have a snap, then the offending team will post in game chat exactly what happened during that turn, and what exactly the other team could have seen had they had the opportunity to see the board before the turn was taken. 4) the game is played out; if at the completion of the game, it is discovered that the information the offending team gave was incorrect, the offending team is ejected from the tournament. If the information given was correct, then there is no penalty.
5) ADDENDUM: If the offending team fails to give information about the turn they took before a snap could be taken or the 12 hour period has expired, then it will be counted as an automatic loss against the offending team. Be sure to wait the 12 hours or until a "snap taken" message is received, or post in game chat what happened and what could be seen!
Taking 8 teams for a dubs Round Robin on Waterloo.
Settings will be automatic, sequential, no spoils, chained, foggy, no trench.
There will be a round limit of 20 rounds for each game.
Each team will play every other team once, the team with the most wins at the end of Round 7 wins the tournament. In the event of a tie, a best of 3 series will be played using the same map and settings. If more than 2 teams should tie, it will be a 3-way Round Robin of 3 games against each team, whichever team wins the most games wins the tournament. This process will repeat itself as needed until a winner can be determined.
There will be a minimum average team score requirement of 2000 at the time of signing up. (To avoid confusion...Add your score and your partner's score, divide this number by 2. If that number is 2000 or higher, then you qualify for this tournament. If it is lower than 2000, then you do not qualify.)
Due to past tournaments of mine, and the negative experiences of those, there will be no freemiums allowed in any of my tournaments.
In the event that a team needs to replace a player, this will be allowed twice. The replacing player must keep the team at or above the minimum average team score.
Each player will have 48 hours to join their games. If after 2 invites have been sent the player has not accepted, then he will have to be replaced. This will not count towards the 2 time allowance to replace a player.
Please sign up only as a team. I will not take singles and pair them up.
When you sign up, please post each team members name and your team's average score.

Would you consider adding a 12 hour fog rule? I like this version: 1) the team that has first turn waits 12 hours before starting the turn.
This allows for accidental starts, and for personal schedules that do not permit playing at a later time. Obviously this should not be abused - maybe a "TO reserves the right to boot a team that repeatedly violates the 12 hours fog rule" statement would cover willful abuse...

Yeah, I can add the 12 hour fog rule. I like the way you have spelled it out, so I'll just use your description in the first post. PM sent to all participants informing them of the change.
