I remember the new boss said that increasing number of active users is merit to show that the site is growing, but another thing is merit for site growing, which is number of active games. Right now there are 178 pages of active games, and I remember days when there were 216 or so pages of active games.

To that point. I have no beef of any kind with anyone who posted in this thread but, speaking in general terms, I have noticed a LOT of "stop this or else" posts from the mods on the site over the years.
May I suggest that a lot of the bickering "flaming,baiting" would diminish if those statements of stop or else were actually backed with real action on a regular basis.

Lack provided me with a list of the things he wished he had the time to make happen and improving the clan experience was near the top of it. We now have the time and resources that we will be able to tackle it before long. There are some smaller updates to work on first (and some time required for everyone involved to get comfortable with the code). One-on-one games have a HUGE luck factor. But when I play versus a Cook I risk losing 100 rating points for a potential gain of 5 rating points? REALLY?? That makes sense? That suggests that a skilled Conquer Club player beats a poor conquer club player 20 times for every one time the poor player wins. That is absurd. The rating system should account for skill level to a degree but the current system is horrendous. You might as well not have ratings at all if you are going to accept this absurd system.
