I am new to the site, and agree with this setiment. From my understanding, deadbeat players cause more issues in team games than singles games and cause those that are working hard to get their point totals up to suffer due to their inconsistency. That could be the main reason to have private games to ensure this does not happen, but I feel that if you are going to miss out on some games, you should not have joined them in the first place...possible an invite function to bring in someone to replace a deadbeat player? Just an idea.
the live chat doesn't appear to be working. Also could you help me out whilst you still have gabbly, i registered my name with gabbly, but when i use the live chat it says that my nickname has already been registered.please choose another or login. So far the only way i can to do this is by going through the gabbly website. Is there anyway i can either change my nickname or login into the live chat through the CC website? thnx
i agree with the fact that the new one is better for anti spam and such, but the new one also is freaking slow. how do you get the social room to stay closed?
I'm not too excited about the fact that one teammate inherits other teammate's cards and armies if the person is eliminated because of the deadbeating. If the oposing team did not damage the deadbeating player during the three rounds, his/her teammate can earn a huge advantage thanks to the person's elimination.
This is particularly true in 2-team doubles games.
Inheriting armies- OK, but cards too- it just seems too much!
I HATE this new rule where the armies of deadbeaters in team games go to their team mates.
I have played four team games in total, and two of them involved a deadbeater on the opposition's team. Both times it gave the other team a hugely, insanely, ridiculous advantage. And both times neither of these players who deadbeated were n3wbies!!!!
It's not always possible, or the most logical move, to waste all your armies on a fkn pathetic deadbeater, while the other team mate has free reign to gain bonuses, only to have them gain the other players armies if you're not able to wipe them out in three turns!!!!
I can't speak for other games, I can only speak from personal experience, and in this case it created an impossibility for my team to gain the upper hand.
I can tell you now, it was a nasty surprise to realise that the deadbeater's armies all went to one team mate instead of becoming neutral

Thats not a new thing, its been happening for months (well since before I started last year anyway).
The new change announced was that Cards now transfer as well.
in my personal opinion the army transfer is rarely even to the cost of losing the player and three turns. But thats a thread jack, if you want to discuss that one with me, pm or start a different thread
