I won't say this sudden pressure on me is entirely unexpected. Frankly, I'm a little surprised it took you this long to get to me.

Yesterday my "Noob Lynch" was considered scummy as shit, and largely with good reason.

I'd like to start my defense by pointing this out here. Your case was scummy as shit. In fact, I have hardly ever seen a case more scummy. If Happy hadn't turned up scum, the tables would be flipped right now and it would be your head on the chopping block. I honestly don't think I should have to defend my attacks against you. I was chasing a lead just the same as you were. Your lead was more successful than mine, but just because I was (likely) wrong doesn't mean I'm scum.

If we don't get anything going here I am going to advocate lynch the rookies. I should have some time to read tonight to see if I can find something better, but I will place a vote one way or another tonight.

Lynch the rookies? Really? That's a terrible idea. Just because someone is new doesn't mean they're scum. And what if we have a mafia full of experienced players? Then we are essentially helping them win. Major FOS to you and new guy (who agreed with you).

Now, I could understand lynching the inactives (such as happyfeet), but that is drastically different from "lynching the rookies".

This was an easy position to take advantage of, but also keeps his hands moderately clear of both the case against me, and the defense of Happy. It was a good way to test the waters to see if any traction could be made against me.

I made this quote when happyfeet had only two votes on him (if my count is correct). Thats still quite a ways away from being threatening. Also, the idea that I was "testing the waters" holds no water whatsoever. I voted you less than twelve hours after I made that post and a majority of the town was in agreement with you. If I had been testing the waters, I would not have jumped in I like I did.

I think you missed the part in edocsil's post where he asked for a claim.

Now here he is coaching his scum partner into an attempt to keeping himself alive. Honestly, if Happy would have claimed some halfway decent power role instead of voting me (and following Mr. S's lead in that vote) I think the case would have crumbled in the final hours.

By this logic, anytime anyone asks someone for a claim that means they are scumbuddies. You wanted a claim, I wanted a claim, the whole town wanted a claim. So my post is more passive-aggressive, so what? Thats how I write.

And I highly doubt the case would've crumbled. We were coming up on the deadline (as you reiterated so many times) and happy's lynch was pretty much guaranteed. You've played enough mafia to know that cases never change in the last 48 hours unless its a c9 game or something of comparable size.

Honestly, unless he has an absolutely perfect claim with proof of his innocence, I want to see him lynched now. His lack of a claim makes me think that he doesn't have one to give.

Here he washes his hands of a ally that is sure to be a liability if he doesn't remove himself. He does this at the same time as he questions the existence of fakes. This is a transparent attempt to imply that he could not possibly be scum. I have the pair to say that scum have fakes. They must, it's the only prevention to a mass claim. To really even imply otherwise would really be mocking Chap's ability to mod a game, especially for a flavor game like this.

In short, Mr. S worked too hard to defend Happy when he thought he could still get away with it, and I am calling him out for it.

You might have a pair to GUESS that the scum have fakes but you can't be sure. I've played many games where they don't get them. Its not uncommon. Even in themed games. It sucks, but it happens.

By what do you mean, I could "still get away with it". The entire time most of the town was agreeing with you. Sure, some guys voiced their agreement that you were acting a little scummy, but the votes stayed on happy and it was abundantly clear early on that he was going to get lynched (or at least to L-1 with a claim). So what was I getting away with? Saving Happy? Nope. Wasn't happening. And even if we were scumbuddies, why would I stick my neck out for him? Like you said, he's a newbie. He doesn't contribute much. I'm a nice guy, but not that nice.

As for my claim I'm Jenny Shepard, Town Busdriver. Apparently she's some administrative person and I can tell people where to go.

Normally with a cult recruiters death those recruited revert back or are VT. I would be curious to hear from Isaiah.

I've thought about it and I think it's best to reveal what I know. I was recruited by Edocsil night 1 but upon his death I have again become town. Its true Isaiah was cult as well (recruited last night) which is how Edoc knew that Mr. Squirrel was lying. When Edoc died we both reverted back to being townies. I regained my original role and I don't see any reason Isaiah hasn't as well.

As for what happened N2. Me and Edocsil thought the best target would be Gibbs.. Apparently however Gibbs proved to be unrecruitable or otherwise protected from recruitment (probably the former).

My role is relatively minor in nature. As town I was a minor investigative role (which is why I believed more than most of you that Ziva was paranoid (I guess she's most likely insane unless there's another reason Isaiah's role would come up guilty)). However when I was recruited into cult, my role advanced, I was able to investigate people and see who would make a willing cult. On N2 I tried to investigate Safariguy but as you know I was role blocked. On N3 I again investigated Safari and was told he would not make a willing cult. This means that either Safari is scum (if Edocsil had attempted to recruit mafia he would have died) or unrecruitable. There's basically two roles I feel definitively probably wouldn't be recruitable, one of them is dead and the other would have been Ziva (former Israeli operative. strongly loyal. her being seduced by cult didn't make much sense in my eyes). So I would propose town to vote Safariguy

Also for the record, if Edocsil had any ability beyond recruiting, he did not tell me (lead to believe he didn't have any).
