Sometimes, you just got to stand up, pull down your trousers, and show 'em what you're made of.Crazyirishman wrote:Mine is sometimes I tend not to think things through thoroughly or I will make a play that I know probably won't work just because I like to gamble from time to time. Oddly enough this is somewhat opposite to my nature in real life, as my biggest weakness is not being assertive or taking a calculated risk at times when it would help me.

If you're explaining your strategy to your opponents I guess it's a good thing they don't understand it.AAFitz wrote:My greatest weakness as a player is that I am usually many times more intelligent than the opponents, so they sometimes do not understand my strategies and chat, because I cannot explain them in a manner in which they can understand. Well, its either that or an over-abundance of humility.
That's actually a good point...among others that could be noted. I was actually more referring to debates in the game chat after games were decided though...beyond the obnoxious/arrogant act.Denise wrote:If you're explaining your strategy to your opponents I guess it's a good thing they don't understand it.AAFitz wrote:My greatest weakness as a player is that I am usually many times more intelligent than the opponents, so they sometimes do not understand my strategies and chat, because I cannot explain them in a manner in which they can understand. I kinda like weaknesses. If she's bad at something I'm good at then I just think it's cute. If she doesn't know anything about computers for example. That'll be a great opportunity for me to get in the role of someone knowledgeable and teach her a few things. Of course it's only cute until she gets a mental breakdown for not understanding how to shut off the computer when it gets stuck. Hysteric girls + computers = not cuteRobinette wrote:Gillipig wrote:Then you should be apologizing for your strengths instead.Robinette wrote: “Men are taught to apologize for their weaknesses, women for their strengths.” -Lois Wyse
never said that it SHOULD be that way,,,![]()
Weakness is attractive in babies, be they boys or girls...
but this should slowly decline as they grow and become less vulnerable.

You and me both.Mr Changsha wrote: 2. Complicated maps (anything by quert): Bombardment points, division or general bonuses, tanks, planes and ships, aggressive neutrals..I look at these maps, I am capable of understanding them, but I fail to see how my strategies for Risk can be applied to them. Partly it is due to the map looking so horribly crowded that puts me off, but i suspect it is more a case of my poor old brain (which is not the best tactically even on traditional maps) being rather crap at coping with all the tactical possibilities these maps provide.
