hmm... i think that since it is YOU people are looking at in terms of the only potential case of the day atm, it is YOU who should answer. Yes, maybe PCM should answer too... it could give us some info, but i really think that it is YOU who needs to take the initiative, and kinda just accept that pressure is moving in your direction.

I think any logical person wouldn't have targeted anyone last night when there were no clear targets for scum, and its not lylo. That said, you declared that you not only would've killed someone, but you named that person. You must have an explanation, unless you are just trying to appear scummy.

Figured I would give some clarification in reading through this.

My power is not once a day/night I have a limited amount which leaves me with one left.

1) I forced vodean to say that they are town. Granted they thought I was a idiot for asking but they came back truthful.

2) I asked myself if Safari and Clever are town. I got back that I was lying and went after Safari and came back scum.

On my list I can assume vodean is clean because of my power. Clever I can not because, as the logic statement goes, 1 or both could be scum. We know one was but the other is not certain.

If this is the case, you definitely don't want to waste that last question. You should probably make a batch claim. Something like, "Player X, Y, and Z are all town." If it comes up as true, then you just cleared three townies. If its false, we have a much smaller pool of people we can either investigate or kill in order to catch the scum.

Fair enough. Given the lack of leads compelling enough to risk busdriver shenanigans, I doubt I would have shot anyone. I kinda agree with Thor's decision, that's part of why I asked the question in the first place.

Thaat wasn't my perogative. Since DJ didn't think it was wise to use his remaining power to determine if you are scum, I figured we should conduct an old fashioned pressure vote to get a claim and gauge you reaction (which you don't seem to have done very well in the latter category.)

I had the idea of doing the mass question of 3 people earlier in the game and was saving it for that reason which may come into play now if need be. At this point we can force a claim out of chap or test my last power to see a range of people. There are 9 left and I know 2 are fine. Leaving 7 unanswered. I can give you a broad range if that is the route we want to go because that is pretty much the extent of it. I would like to see Chap claim just to see what we are dealing with since it doesnt appear they are going to be let go of.

Because he seemed scummy to me. When I read through, he wasn't adding anything to the discussion and multiple times went a week without posting. And when he did, it was just a one liner. Let's take a look, starting after the joke voting stopped:

Your claim isn't without it's doubts. Freyr wasn't associated with a hammer (That's Thor's thing); he was a fertility god that was associated with a magical sword (phallic symbolism definitely intended). Although he is very important and I would expect him to be in the game.

Continues with a more veiled defense saying that CLEVER is the only legitimate case. And then tries to poke holes in CLEVER's claim.

The whole game he hasn't contributed a thing and he has pretty much been non-committal about most things. He seems to just be trying to fly under the radar instead of remaining active and seeking cases. Add to that, he even tried to defend a mafia member multiple times. He only finally voted when it was evident that it was going to happen anyway.

So, that's why I would have vigged him. Since I'm not going to be able to vig him (I'm saying I'm not a vig, that's not a vig soft claim, vodean), I'll vote him. unvote vote everywhere

I've got a feeling your words will be forgotten due to Chap's far more elaborate post, so I guess I'll address them now before they are.

1) I honestly can't defend why Clever posted some of the things he posted. I have no idea why he did the things he did. Asking me to defend him is something I simply can't do because they weren't my words or thoughts.

2) As far as the claim, I understand it is pretty much the perfect scum claim, but its what my role is. The person who kills me dies, and the next day phase is skipped. There's no way for me to prove my claim, so you'll just have to believe me. If for some reason you decide you want to test my claim anyway, then this is how you should do it: chase down a scum on another player other than me and force them to hammer. At least that way my death will take down the next best lynch as well. If they refuse to hammer (because they are the last scum, most likely) then lynch them instead. My death is gonna screw over the town pretty bad (lose my vote, lose 1 other player, two scum NKs), so if you guys really wanna chase this down you need to do it in the best way possible.

Personally, if I had been clever, I would've just claimed beloved princess. That way I am a prime scum target and I could blow one of them up.

I admit that I haven't been as active as I should have been, particularly during Day 1. During that day and for most of Day 2, I had been active in 5 mafia games and modding another. I tried to post when I could here, but I had to focus elsewhere. I had the same problem in Matrix. That shouldn't be a problem anymore.

As for your assertions that I defended saf, I wasn't defending him. I clearly said that I thought that he was acting scummy. I just disapproved of the reasoning that used the information given in the opening scene as evidence against him, which I though was bullshit (still do), especially after edocsil dispelled the notion that the scene is a reliable source for us to gauge night actions from.
