unless we start voting for you and if i'm not mistaking you'll have to claim at L-2 :?

PS: i'm still pro replacing Yomiel. regardless of his role, he's still having a bad behaviour. even if he's a jester looking to get lynched there really is no need to act like this and ruin the fun for everybody.

Problem is, remaining silent is hurting your case even more. In every mafia game I've played in (albeit this is only my 4th) there has been a town watcher and/or town tracker. So tonight, either one of those two or both can confirm your claim, thereby helping town. Though if you continue down this "silent treatment" road, it will (and to me it does) appear that you are actually scum. Right now my vote will stay on you because IMHO you are the scummiest one here because of your actions.

See above on town watcher and town tracker.

Do not make assumptions, that's all I can say. Telling you my role will help no one but the Mafia.

I'd say those of you insisting my claim give off serious Mafia vibes. Revealing a role, especially if it's a Power one, is a stupid move, even more so this early in the game. The Mafia would probably either kill or block me, and disbelieving my claim in the case of the latter, you would then kill me the next day, giving the Mafia an escape and helping them get closer to winning. And if I'm Mafia, I could easily claim I must have been blocked or that I chose not to action. Or I could just lie about my role, like I said, an action on the same person, with no one realizing it was a lie. Even if you manage to find anything, the tracker or whatever would have to reveal themselves, and that pretty much guarantees they will be killed or blocked next.

safariguy5 wrote:Ah, remaining silent means we must apply pressure to get a roleclaim. I seriously doubt we're going to be able to move on to other cases until we get a resolution to this one. And it doesn't seem like Yomiel wants to resolve it quickly anyways.

vote Yomiel

Especially since he's the one who wants this game to move faster so he can get to use his night action.

Just because a watcher or tracker reveals themselves, does not mean that they will automatically get killed. If you get blocked, and the watcher sees that, the watcher can then verify the truth to your statement. Just because a watcher or tracker gets killed early in the game, does not mean that town will automatically lose the game! Or that they will get blocked that next night. Things change during the day that scum will change their mind on who to go after.

There is no way your plan would succeed, and I will not claim. You can kill me if you want, but in the end, you will see that it was a very bad gameplay choice.

Sounds like you are 100% positive that it won't work? You are still sounding like scum. If we lynch you, town will still have a good chance to win.

YOU are the one who hinted that you had a power role and once someone heads down this road there is no turning back as Mafia could say, "Please dont lynch me because you really need me". You are pretty much making your own bed.

Yes this is a game of individual roles but it is also a game of common sense. If you are a Town PR it will force Mafia to second guess itself. If Mafia tries to kill or block you there is a very strong possibilty you will be protected, watched ect by other town roles. The game is not based on just one person winning the game with their individual night actions.

You need to trust that you will be taken care of. You also need to understand that winning has nothing to do with staying alive individually and everything to do discovering who is who. Mafia knows who is who in that they know who is on their team. Town does not have that luxery.

Unfortunately, I am telling the truth. I cannot claim, and doing so will not benefit the Town in any way, only the Mafia. It's not a matter of trust, just fact. You'll only realize it too late, probably.

Are you saying your role "prevents" you from claiming?

Claiming helps mafia in that it lifts the fog on who they target but also helps Town. Claiming is not a death sentence but there are many variables to consider as well.

I tend to beleive you are Town BUT if what you say is true you will be a potential target for mafia as they already know
you are a target of opportunity. Town now faces the dilema of wasting resources on a question mark, which is highly doubtful at this point.

With 16 alive, it take 9 to lynch. Deadline in about 190 hours.

Yomiel:
It seems as though the game is actually being played. Especially the past few pages. Just play and don't comment about others not playing. Everyone is playing, they just may have different styles.
Everyone else:
I will not replace him, because it seems that things are fine now and going smoothly these last few pages. However, before that quite a few of you were out of line with responses to him. Keep that in check.

It seems Chap has chosen not to replacethis player. So the choice is lynch, or see if he comes around and quits insulting everyone and tries to play the game a little differently.

One more post.

If you need information about roles or have questions about that, you can ask me (looking at you, happyfeet).

I don't think the discussions about the other game are breaking rules. You can bring outside information into this game. That doesn't mean it will help you or even be relevant, but not breaking the rules.

And, what I'm saying is that, at this point, the game looks to be back on track. So everyone play and be nice and if you're going to make a post, make it be relevant to the game. Don't post about being unhappy about people not playing the game. If you play, others will as well.

Yomiel, one last directly at you: people have been playing and attempting to play. You said people were ignoring your case on Mr. Squirrel, but that's inherently untrue. They thought it was a bad case. You aren't being ignored.

im happy to put him at L-2, but am noting that jak is trying to push for a lynch on yomiel when the primary alternative is him... lets keep that in mind

yomiel: the difference between your case on MS and other people's case on dazza is that with MS it was in the joke-votes. you cannot take anything seriously from that... i HAVE said that before. with dazza, it was after the joke-votes, so things are relevant to the GAME, which was being PLAYED.

look, we are not unreasonable. just either respect us and try to get along, or go somewhere else. honestly, in general there are almost no people on CC i do not like. you are currently number 1. but if you try to be accommodating, that will change, and change FAST.

Note it all you want to Vodean, I've been on him long before the votes have been on me, so keep that in your notes as well. Wouldn't want to have faulty notes would you?

i know you have been pushing him a while. its just that now, at a critical moment, you try to get us to lynch him, rather than looking at other cases as well.

also, unvote. i cant remember why my vote was even on jgordon

i've seen several people mentioning things like "i'm keeping notes" "i'll note this down" "i've written down your actions and i'll ... "

do you guys actually keep notes? i mean literally write down thoughts about the game?
if you do, then what exactly do you write?

sorry if this seems a bit off-topic. i'll take it elsewhere if this bothers anybody.

Yes alot of us keep notes, when I FOS someone it is for me to refer to my notes about why that stood out to me,I put the page number so I dont have to go back page by page. Thats why it humors me when someone says I have skimmed something,or infers I have missed something, which brings me to this

@ vodean you put your vote on me because I misinterpeted what Saf had said to me,about Yomiel, the whole vote unvote business. And my reaction. ;)
keep better notes vodean. :P

Usually I use it as a way to keep references on something I find interesting. May or may not be scummy, just something I want to be able to find more easily later on.

Or I do it just to joke around with someone.
