On a sidenote...congrats to the real Winterhawks on their sweep of Tri-City to reach the WHL Finals for a second straight season...quite the game last night...my throat is still sore.

Damn schedulers... couldn't make it up to Edmonton to cheer on the 'Hawks for a single game in the finals since they were all on weekdays. Too bad Portland didn't have home ice advantage - I think they would have won it.

That was an incredible series...two great teams.
Of course, the schedule didn't mesh on my end either...had other obligations for each of Portland's home games.
Oh well...quite the season indeed.

Edmonton stays alive, moving the Finals series to 3-2 Kelowna...Game 6 has been sent. Another Oil Kings victory means a Game 7 finale on Classic.
