[NC3] Newcomers Cup 3-close pls

This Cup's purpose is to establish new and lower ranked clans,
give them a chance to win something and gather valuable experience
as a base for further growth and rise in ranks.

It is not as strict as other competitions as we have to cherish
any new blood coming into clan world and give them a chance
to understand and learn how to be an effective clan.

Bare that in mind.

When signing up, add a contact!

GENERAL INFO:

• Sign ups are open till June 19th and will start June 24th.
• There is no seeding, bracket will be randomized.
• The winner of the event will have to finish 3 wars (minimum).
• There is no limitation on number of clans entering.
• Each clan war is to be issued a medal as it normally would.

OPEN FOR:

• new clans - clan that has yet to be ranked by F400 ranking
• any older clans ranked 21 or lower in April and May 2012 in F400 ranking
• any clan created within last year ranked 16 or lower in April and May 2012 in F400 ranking

RESTRICTED FOR PREVIOUS WINNERS:

[*]NC2 - ? (LHDD are ranked 11 anyway so GR can play only if they lose )

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT:

• Each clan member can only participate in 15 games per clan war
• Each map can only be used twice per clan per clan war but can only be used once per game type
  (i.e. once for triples and once for quads)
• no freestyle, speed, manual deployments, beta maps and trench warfare
• 12 H agreement is not requirement, but can be negotiated by engaging clans

WARS:

• Will be consisted of 41 games
• 14 quads, 14 trips, 12 dubs + tie on Classic with escalating, chain and no fog settings
• Clans will work out all other details between themselves
  (who is running the war thread and in how many sets are the games being played)

DESIRED START DATES:

• Round 1: June 24th
• Round 2: August 5th
• Round 3: September 9th
• Round 4: October 14th
• Round 5: November 18th

CONFLICTS:

• For using maps & players more the stated in RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
  the other team gets to choose which games they wish to replace,
  by choosing map and settings of their preference.
• If at any time anyone of you needs some time ask!!
• All complaints are to be looked up in case by case fashion.

gives those that want to participate long enough in advance of a notice to prepare... for example we are currently in our 2nd ever clan challenge and are participating in a tournament right now with not very many people, so this gives us a chance to both discuss and try to finish any prior engagements.

They do qualify, new clan is any clan that is new

Maybe the best argument is, that they never were on FD ranking.

But as freak said, they aim higher and consider themselves as an higher ranked clan.

It`s not about game load, it`s about organizing things. Freak is in charge of CC, I`m doing my best to keep CL going, trboye and lordnex are helping us as much as they can, but there is no way we would be able to organize one more competition. Someone else would have to step up.

Besides, honestly, I think we would rather play ICL than this.

Now, if *someone* would stop wasting his time in that OSA clan and come over to help us.

we do not consider ourself higher ranked... we prove with our result how high we are
but we are playing only one clan war at the time, and some may think we are kidding, but i do plan to beat TOFU and stay in CC... TOFU however might have different idea
and we will be on new rankings, probably higher then 21(most likely between 10 and 15)
