Hi. I am looking to create a speed league that is similar to a bowling league. It would meet once a week and ideally last about 2 hours. I've drawn up a format of what I'm thinking. I'm looking for some general feedback and volunteers. As well as a headcount or idea of about how many people would be interested in participating in something like this.
Speed League
Will consist of 12-16 teams and the regular season will run from 11-15 weeks, with the possibility of 4-6 weeks of post season play. It will be similar to a bowling league. Each week your team will face a different opponent. Each team will play each other once. The league will meet at the same time each week. Each participant must be online and available to participate.
Teams: • Will consist of 8-12 players. • Team rosters must be turned in at sign-up. • Must have a minimum of 4 active players on game night. Failure to meet this requirement results in forfeit of any game that cannot be filled. • Will have a Captain and Co-Captain.
Captains and Co-Captains: • Captain’s responsibility will be to turn in rosters and match-ups. • Co-Captains back up the Captains.
Players: • Must be premium to participate • Must check in prior to game time. This will be done via live chat. • Cannot switch teams. • Cheating will not be tolerated • Intentionally missed turns will result in loss of game.
Match-ups: • Will consist of 5 home and 5 away games (2 dubs, 2 trips and 1 quads). • Each game is worth 1 point. Additionally a series win is worth 1 point and a sweep worth 2. Meaning a maximum of 12 points can be won per week. • Maps can be used once/twice per match-up.
Rosters and deadlines: • Match-ups must be turned in 1 week in advance. • Deadlines will be game time of the week before. • Failure to turn in roster will result in default settings being used: random, sunny, esc. • Away games rosters must be turned in 72 hours after receiving them. Failure to turn them in will result in random placement of active roster.
Games and Settings: • Will be a 30 round limit on all games. • Turns will be 5 minutes in length. • No trench, manual, terminator, freestyle, or assassin will be allowed. • Games will be played either away side or home side first. Home team will chose who’s side goes first.
Example: If home team chose first, then their 2 dubs, 2 and trips would be played first, then the away teams dubs and trips would be played. Followed by both the away and home team quads games. Games will be played simultaneously. It is player’s responsibility to cover their turns
Season: • Will consist of 11-15 match-ups to be held on a weekly basis. • Each team will play each other once.
Post Season: • Top 4-8 teams will advance to the post season. • Top seed plays lowest seed. • Single elimination

Are you really that thick?
A signature is a picture or text appears below each of your forum posts. To add a signature visit Control Panel -> Profile -> Edit signature. From the forum guidelines: Signatures larger than 150 pixels high by 600 pixels wide just scream "I am compensating for something" and should be reduced in size.
Where did get that "two lines of text" from? And if that's the new rule, why isn't that posted anywhere?

It's in the community guidelines. Sorry you didn't know the rules. Guess I'm not so thick.

Now, let's stop cluttering up this thread.
Give me a link or a quote, because I don't see it there. Then I will stop cluttering this thread.
