First thing's first. Jak? What color is your role written in? I find hard to believe that with an all-out claim like this, we didn't get a simple copy/paste. So, since we didn't, and to save the trouble, I'll take the color code and leave it at that. I'm surprised no one else asked for this.

Secondly, I concur with IB. The roles were very well written, very clear. And also:

It's right there in the PM. If you didn't understand your PM(and it sounds like you still don't), why haven't you gotten a hold of Everywhere and offered us a clearer explination of your role? You're asking us to go on a huge leap of faith at the eleventh hour here. I didn't want to vote for you before, because aside from being a bit meat-headed in your responses to PCM, you've not really stood out as someone to lynch.

Now, however, you are being really sketchy here. Claiming an extremely odd role(innocent child? I have never heard of that role before now. Combined with a bodyguard? -_- ) and expecting us to take you on your word, when you aren't even sure yourself what the role does...

I want to believe you, but combined with the above, as well as the timing, I've going to have to Unvote, Vote: Jak.

Here's what you can do that'll help your case. As I said before, I would like to know what color your role was written in. As well, let's see you get some clarification from the Mod on your role, and explain it here. I'll gladly remove my vote after that, even if it would(more than likely) cause a no-lynch.

I just can't take that big of a leap of fatih.

Roughly 6 lines down in your post, I see a problem.

I can't quote you? It's been a long time, but I'm pretty sure that's not against the rules. :/

(Sorry if I've missed something else. I don't really want to start chain of off-topic posts, so if I'm still confused by your next response, I will send you a PM.)

This is probably my fault because I never laid out specific ground rules, but I would like to clarify something: No quoting any part of your role PM with the exception of the name of your role itself.

Oh, well...

Quite.

In that case, a fair chunk of my post is now rather irrelevent.

Anyway, with that said, there is still the fact that Jak has (apparently) gone this long without fully understanding his role. So my vote stands until I can understand it better.

My only guess is that he is a regular bodyguard that dies if he targets scum. That just makes zero sense with the flavor of the role. I cant make heads or tails of this. According to the scenes the Imperials are the good guys, Helga as a character makes so little sense.... especially as town.

You can paraphrase can you not? For example.

PM: You are a giant super cat that can jump far.

Paraphrase: I am a large feline that leaps long distances.

Still don't believe jak's claim how can a little girl ghost be a bodyguard?

Also X since you last played unless it's changed again since I last played asking about the color of the role is pretty much a nono and even in Sherwood which we played together that kind of was the turning point on that being TMI to give out as our mod wasn't very happy with asking about that, but didn't have it in the rules at the time. From than on out it was pretty much included in the rules.

Vote Count 6

jak: 8 (cowboyz, pancake, jonty, edocsil, clever, LSU, /, Xenhu) (L-2)
new guy: 1 (dazza)
kager: 2 (nagerous, sound)
edocsil: 2 (Leehar, kager)
Not Voting: 5 (IB, ghost, CMS, new guy, jak)

With 18 alive it takes 10 to lynch. Deadline in 11 hours. If no majority lynch is reached a no-lynch will be enforced.

On the plus side, I figured out how to get my Excel program that I'm using to keep track of your night actions to also count votes for me.

Vote Jak

I am torn. I have yet to be part of a game where mafia is lynched day one. I initially wanted to believe him but to much still does not make sense and he certainly has not made things any clearer.

Unvote
Hmm, I was initially gonna ask why you'd put him at l-1 if you were unclear on him, but I now notice that the deadline is 11 hours so there really isn't much time to target anyone else, so I guess lynching this innocent child character will still be better than a no lynch.
If there's anyone that can explain why a no lynch is better I'll hold off hammering, but otherwise I think it should be ok to do so in an hour or so when I finish my turns, even if I'm not particularly convinced in his guiltyness a lynch should still give valuable info

Wasn't sure on this, so I asked Everywhere via PM last night when I had made my blunder.

Color is fine, as it is part of the role name.

We had about ten hours or so left to hear from him. I don't think we needed to drop the hammer so soon. I would've at least given a chance to hear him out...

when you get that close to the deadline its better just to do it since you dont know if something will come up and such. When it gets to 10 hours its kind of a lynch or no lynch at that point, and considering not everyone can wait around for 10 hours for a rebuttle that may or may not come I can see why it was done with the time left. However I do agree with your point on at least giving him a chance.

Well.. I did fake claim, but you're not going to like who you just lynched. Kind of quickly dropped the hammer eh though? Keep an eye on those ones guys, because they know I was either asleep or at school in that time frame.

Why would you fake claim if we're not going to be happy?

Probably cause hes powerful and would be a wanted man if he hadn't fake claimed. Either way, I will judge my dissatisfaction when the scene comes up.
