I have caught up now. I need to churn some thoughts over in my head before I have anything to add.

The case on soundman is interesting. I have seen many inactive cases, but I have never seen such a response to one.

I believe that sound said that he won't be able to post until Monday, so it's kind of a moot point anyway.

I might be mis-reading your post but I don't what was so remarkable about the case on soundman. Leehar voted soundman, clever voted soundman, soundman responds, clever unvotes, leehar responds to soundman,... and thats it.

Am I missing something (not asking sarcastically)?

do you mean you actually plan on bringing subsance to the game any time soon? =D>

and about the soundman case, yeah, like chuck says, please be more specific about what is so incredible about his reply. we've seen lots of those, like eldario did on day 1.

Just because you're a VT doesn't mean you can't contribute. VT's are supposed to be aggressive because they're the meat bags of the game in the night ;)

Day two is as hard as day 1. I agree that we are better off pressuring people and getting information at this stage. Frankly the idea of killing vt's for the sake of it is very scummie! In the end game vt's can prove valuable.

Anyway, for now I want to hear more from Neb. You see oddly silent in the face of votes and questions. If you carry on like that thenyou only end up attracting more attention to yourself so speak up or I will vote on you!

You can still consider whether my case has merit.
Do you think he's been developing an appropriate amount of commentary/his popping in every few days is sufficient to be called active, or do you think as I do thats just a more educated way to submarine?

No, I wouldn't call him active. I was just saying that he might have a good reason right now. Once he comes back I would expect him to contribute.

Call me a sheep...UNVOTE VOTE Freezie. A fresh set of eyes on 41 pages is going to pick up something that those of use who have been stuck in the back forth can't. I'm all for a new direction...Let's start with Freezie.

You try a new case 15 hours before we get a lynch.

vote Neb for trying to stop town getting a lynch by throwing a new case into the mix right before deadline.

FOS Jonty for a terrible reason to vote me. How is this stopping the town from getting a lynch, when I then threw the hammer? Hmm?

So should he come forward and tell us who he saved, or irrelevant for know. I think he should keep close to his chest for now who was actually targeted

Skimming/Lost?
If the victim was busdrove and freezie died, then it's obvious someone else was attacked instead?

I don't see why the busdriver would be mafia; i think town or third party and that it was kind of a lucky thing. now this busdriver might know how was originally targeted by mafia; if it's the case that is someone that can be more or less cleared by the busdriver.

And yes, i think that if we have these 2 night scenes, we probably have a serial killer. I think agent smith being a serial killer and then mafia being machines..

about the bus driver thing, i am really wondering if neb didn't drop a big tell. I think it's very possible that he is mafia and that he knew i was last night's target that got busdriven with freezie. after his VT claim I started trusting him and now I think I might have lowered my guard a bit too much.
This thing he said about me surviving the night is very scummy for a VT, and also his case on freezie at the very end of day 1.. come on, that was not serious!

vote neb

FOS Betiko for also coming up with fabricated reason(s) to vote me.
1. There was no "big tell" in what I said, simply a mixup of names. I was on my phone, getting some last posts in before I was gone for 2 days...I didn't go back and check who it was. I later corrected this to be pmchugh...convenient how you missed that.
2. See my reply to Jonty above about the Freezie vote and subsequent hammer. I also think I explained why I went with the temporary Freezie vote when I made it.
3. Also convenient that you "teamed" up with Jonty on me...

MoB Deadly wrote:I think things are definitely snowballing for Neb.

1. As jonty said he attempted to start a new case at the end of the day with 5 claims already on the table
2. Possible scum slip
3. Hammered the lynch
4. I don't like how he put the focus on PMC after the lynch occurred. It seemed like he could have been trying to attract night actions to PMC.
-
5. He is a safe lynch because he is a VT.

I dont want to jump the gun and put my vote on him just yet. I am sure not all the players even saw the scene from last night yet, I would like to see if a stronger case presents itself before I put a vote on neb.

Again...snowballing?
1. See previous two emails on this...Now THREE people have used this fabricated argument against me.
2. Please point out the possible scum slip? I feel this is a possible "scum turning facts around to try and get a townie lynched."
3. Ha! This is just funny. Had I not hammered, you would say I'm "scummy" because I didn't vote for Eldario.
4. I was pointing out that pmchugh had just come in with a fresh viewpoint on the whole game. He most likely had a better overall read that the rest of us who progressed page by page. Turns out his read on Freezie was wrong...however, I would still like to hear about his other three options...
5. That's a crap reason and you know it...especially one day (RL) into day 2.

Of course, you don't want to jump the gun...that would be too suspicious...almost like leading a case...and mafia don't lead cases, they just cast about a lot of crap reasons on people without voting. Oh, wait...

Your OMGUS on me was odd given I didn't even vote for you. All I said was can you get on and respond already. You'd been going away for 2 days but you seemed to have been away longer. At any rate, it doesn't matter about that cause you've now come back and are getting stuck back into things. Good for you, great to see! But why would you OMGUS me when all I was doing was saying speak up? Seems strange to me. And I have to agree with Leehar, you have gone a little overboard on all this nonsense. Never mind, there are bigger fish to fry.

Sorry Chuck, I read this but then fell asleep and forgot all about it! The tracking information was ex the post by Nebuchadnezer on Fri May 04, 2012 6:17 am:

Anyway...betiko lives.

And is it just me or has Doom simply sidestepped the Soundman issue?

Which struck me as sounding like he knew something beyond his capabilities. Maybe I was reading more into it than it looked, but now that Neb has neither comfirmed nor denied that he is masoned with a tracker I guess it's just one of those mysteries!

I was interested in this ...

In any case, I don't understand what you mean about sidestepping the issue. Don't make me go all try hard and daddy on you.

For those who don't understand what is unusual:

Normal inactive case:

player b wrote:i am sorry, I will try to post something, I have been following along but I don't have much to add

Soundman inactive case:

LOL, this made me laugh. Though I agree, this case seems a bit odd to me. I love Clever. He's like Pinocchio, lead along by strings wishing to be a real boy. XD So, I'm going to give you this advice Clever. If you're going to agree with someone because they said something, and then agree with the opposite person because they said something else, it's going to draw heat. You never even bothered to look it up to decide if either was right or wrong.

However, I believe in the inactive case on sound and would love to see him contribute a bit more, for said reasons Unvote (I don't believe it's needed, but just in case) Vote Sound

neb, all this was fairly ridiculous. you make a quite epic mistake that make you look scummy, and you don't have the empathy to understand that we all jumped on your case at that moment? omgus at its finest, and really childish.

also happy to see that hippo is indeed doing what he said he would and starts bringing interesting things up, at last.

lsu tiger, time to show your pretty face!

also what happened to sg7?? he said he would be away but for how long?
same thing for ghostly. 3 players that have desapeared from the map and haven't showed up yet on day2, saf, maybe you could prod them?

Vote Count

neb(1)- everywhere
sound(3)- Leehar, Doom, jak

With 22 alive, it takes 12 to lynch.

Will prod ghostly and sg7. LSU is probably catching up, will hold off on prodding him until reasonable amounts of time have passed.

Hey all, I am just now getting back from 46 hours inactivity (most will know from my explanation in the vacation thread, etc).

Personal note, I have to read from page 53 and will try to by the end of the night.

Prod received, you can hopefully expect for me to join back in the action more like tomorrow morning or evening hopefully.
