I cannot do a top five. I am sure I have left players out as well so I apologize to them now. When I take a few minutes to think about it, I come up with these players as the players that give me the hardest time. I would consider all of these players top players and top tourney players. In no particular order:

what do you consider best?

does rank matter? i've met some pretty skilled players that were only captains or even lower.

anyway, i can think of 3 great players that are no longer active: benjikat, wacicha, masli

I'm not taking rank into consideration. But it was hard to come up with a top five anyway. Some of the players mentioned is there because I've witnessed first hand how kick ass good they are, some I've just played against without neccesarily seeing them at their best but know from others how good they are.

The best player team players I've played with are sekretar and hmsps.

I have mainly avoided 1v1 freestyle for points because I lack speed but I played a whole bunch on feudal war (adjacent, foggy, no spoils). Copying malabrosse who is amazing on this setting and stays at General, and has reached Field Marshall playing open public games against anyone. He also never seems to bitch or moan when his dice fail.

Pirlo springs to mind at the moment. He always seems to beat me

Rodion is one of the only honest players at the top end of the scoreboard. I've played him 11 times (all tournament doubles games), and he has the winning advantage 6 to 5. But I have the advantage in tournament finals 2 to 1

. I always enjoyed the challange of playing him.

Why are you laughing?

If my assumption is true, its because he foes anyone good and all that jazz. He has also foed me on several occasions for pretty pointless reasons, but that doesn't change the fact that he is quite good on those settings. Do i agree with his foeing tactic...no but that doesn't effect the quality of his play.

For me that's exactly what it does! If he foes players because they beat him then maybe he should find another map/setting to specialize on.
