Well, I put this in the wrong forum the first time so here's my name XDD...

My name is Rosana Masse. I thank everyone for actually standing up to Doom for me here, though I wish it could have been done with more.. subtle hints. I agree, soft claiming is BS, but that wasn't going to stop me from trying to get in a few more days. There's another power I have that requires a certain person lynched by the end of D3 for it to be activated. ~Cough~ Adolf ~Cough~ that would've bought us a night with not a single kill... Now that Doom was kind enough to be so out with my claim, I do wish to either see a claim or lynch with him. It's just not like Doom knowing a fellow townie's role and then continuing to pressure them by any means. That right there just gives me bad vibes from him. I do not know if something is bothering him, affecting his mood, but if there is not, then this case is worth pursuing to the full.

I'm not sure, the name seems to be a real army nurse who served in Italy for America, but it's not really a famous name, no wikipedia page to be found, and the theme is, quote "German commanders vs (mainly) American commanders as mafia and power roles" Your name does not meet these criteria, as a power role you should be a commander unless the mod wishes to amend his post.

On a site called wickedlocal (Rosana Masse WW2), The heading is "Women in uniform profile ‘Roz’ Masse — WWII Army nurse. I believe that is enough to constitute a nurse figure.

I said he did to check and see who was skimming and the reaction it would get and from who.

Mostly shows alot of follow the leader and skimming in these mafia games,not just this one. Thats why I dont like BW's in these games just because of the skimmers allowing someone to get lynched because the leader explains to everyone how knowledgable on the game and the skimmers rather than do any work on thier own jump on The BW's and go.

Usually that leads to alot of town dying before even one scum is found.

If you dont have investigative skills or you just skim admit it. otherwise you poor gameplay kills town,and allows mafia to run rampant in these games.

That's not the point, the point is if I were hosting "Founding Fathers of America" mafia and I specifically say all town power roles are future presidents, you can't claim "Benjamin Franklin JOAT" no matter how important he was, it is dishonest to the players, so either you or I as the mod would have to be lying, and I am more apt to trust the mod than any players.
And I would have to say, if jak flips Nazi, you are his most likely ally.
However, I am not certain on how to proceed with this, I would not lynch the claimed doctor without near certainty.

hmmm, looking at it again, I would like to question the mod on his syntax, on the front page when you wrote "(mainly) American commanders" as power roles did you mean "Mainly AMERICAN, commanders" ie there could be British, French Etc commanders too, or "Mainly AMERICAN COMMANDERS" Ie the majority of the power roles are American commanders, but the cop might be Sherlock Holmes?

I debated this in my head guys, and I think I need to explain some of the role claims, etc.

There are only so many roles that can actually be fitted. Some roles will not be perfectly fitted with a historic background. The reason this is is because it is tough to find certain things like a bus driver role (I dont think there was something like this in WWII, you know).

By Mainly American commanders, it also leaves room for troops and recognized heroes of the war. Please go off of this as a personal guide.

1. Roles may not match up with a perfect Real Life person who fought.
2. Mainly american commanders, but there may be people from, any of the allies, or axis.
3. Try not to play the mod. I dont mind answering things like this because I know down the road it may turn into a bloodbath that is UN-rightfully conducted (ex: Your name claim didnt do that, lynch him!).

Hope that clears it up some.

So with that in mind would everyone please go back and read the pages you skimmed then post your own opinions,rather than follow the leader it has a tendency to kill town alot, and I know most of you only care when its you on the block,but by the time you realize you might be in trouble the leader has usually risen in the game,and unfortunatley sometimes its the mafia godfather leading you to lynch and kill each other.

I am not saying or implying that PMC or jak might be in any way mafia,my opinion is they are not.

But form your own opinions and play, The submariners are a good focus point in any game.

Play the damn game dont just join to say you did it.

So, knowing that, what do the rest of you think of the plausibility of a "Rosana Masse" being the name picked for town doctor? I for one am not certain, it would seem to me our names would have a wider renown than that, for example, if I should Google my own role name at the moment, the first result is a Wikipedia article, if I should Google "Rosana Masse" the first result is a white pages listing.

(note: I am absolutely not attempting to disparage Masse or any other WW2 heroes, all of whom, should be honored, I am simply contemplating plausible names, something the mod must have done extensively)

Perhaps Ghostly knows her from some other means besides renown. That's like if I asked you if you knew who William Hall is, you'd not be able to answer that question. He's WIDELY known for people who know the subject.

My point is, is that she might be known more to Ghostly or from a certain standpoint at looking at the war. Everyone knows leaders and stuff, but there's famous people that don't get mentioned that often, that probably should.

I see, it is not how I would use the word "recognized", but I will keep in mind not to play the mod too much as instructed, I would still like to hear from everyone else on the matter, as well as your opinions on the sensibility of an army nurse gaining the ability to to stave off every single casualty for a night if Hitler is lynched within 3 days.
I personally don't see rewarding town by stunting the mafia's effectiveness for a night if they lose their leader early on, as "balanced", but it would also mean jak's role would potentially be saving Nazis too.

There is a reason /, I am trying to make a point about playing the game,If you sign up be involved. its more a game if everyone is playing.

You play logically thinking out your choices as do some of the others,we just finished one game together,was I hard to understand in that one?

If the same people are the only ones playing, it throws the game off in some aspects.

If you want to play mafia be involved,dont just skim and vote thats not what it is about.

Play the damn game or ask for a replacement.

My claim is who I am and I picked up on jaks post as soon as he said it and then tried to deflect attention back away from him, "I fight my fights by myself". Better for me to get picked off than lose the doc.

2. Jak screwed up big time. I could write a lot about when/how he did that, but it's irrelevant. The gist of it is you don't lynch uncounterclaimed doctors D1, period.

3. Chap: I'm trying to change my playing style. I've found that when I'm highly active I'll either get lynched by stupid town players who don't understand me or killed by mafia in the first nights. Either way, I'm not alive during the clutch moments of the game (D4 onwards). This is not a decision I made after receiving my role PM, as can be seen here:

I will be honest jgordon. 90% I read but I am forced to ignore because your grasp of English is incomprehensible. I try to find the meaning in what you say, but you talk so much and so poorly that it usually ends up being more effort than it is worth. Right now I still can't understand what you are saying. You didn't catch anyone skimming, from what I saw, most players (including the mod) went back and checked whether or not I edited a post.
