I thought of an idea to help prevent cheating; people in the same game shouldn't be able to message each other on Conquer Club. The site should automatically disable direct messaging between two players that are engaged in the same game, UNLESS they're on the same team.
It would at least be the best way to stop cheating directly on this site. And, if the two people weren't friends before, it'd be harder for them to find out each other's AIM screen names and such, making cheating harder between people who don't know each other.. I suppose it's not a 100% prevention method, but it's worth trying.

I've never once suspected anyone of secret diplomacy. I just hear a lot about it and wondered why Conquer Club doesn't implement that kind of limitation to people in game.
Conquer Club is closest thing to a government entity that doesn't give a shit about people demands and needs. I still see the idea unreasonable though!
I honestly think this is a bad idea.. What if you needed to PM someone, but you happened to be against them in a game? You wouldn't be able to contact them in a private way if they needed to..
I suspect that most cheats join a game with that intent. Cheating is usually preconceived which makes this a really bad idea... posted in the wrong forum.
Blocking PMs would add to the difficulty of dealing with cheaters by the rest of the players in the game.
I can see how blocking PMs in game would make identifying cheaters in the game difficult, but in general, it's not like you couldn't post in the game chat to the other player that you suspect cheating.
I don't see how this is the 'worst' suggestion ever. Might not be the brightest idea, but it makes cheating a little more difficult.

these are all Clan-mates of mine and we are all in lots of team based Clan games and regularly have to PM each other to sort out clan games or just shooting the shit, now something tells me the game linked above will be going on for the best part of the next few months if not longer, so Imagine how much of a pain in the ass it would be if none of us were able to PM each other till this game finished....
