i played with him before he left. I'm pretty sure he's familiar with the joke vote phase.ghostly447 wrote:nagerous, how long has it been since you played? Because it was in the joke vote stage, are you used to joke voting or did it just not happen when you used to play?

Well he thought it was scummy when I voted him for "Never playing with him before". Unless it was sarcasm in which case I will give the warning that sarcasm does not transfer well over the internet.shieldgenerator7 wrote:i played with him before he left. you're right. that's weird. I'm starting to get scum vibes from him, especially for this post:ghostly447 wrote:Well he thought it was scummy when I voted him for "Never playing with him before". Emphasis in bold. Isn't D1 all random? And without randomness (random BWs I mean) doesn't D1 usually end up in no lynch? And doesn't no lynch = mafia win? (maybe not because of 1 no lynch but each one helps the mafia a little more depending on situation of course)nagerous wrote:Just seems a little too random to me, I know day 1 can be a little hard to find real leads but I am failing to see why he should be the first to claim merely because he has not posted in a couple of days. Call me out for defending someone quite early if you will but I've got my eye on a couple of those who saw a wagon developing and jumped on it in a sudden succession of posts, whilst hoping to stay un-noticedshieldgenerator7 wrote:it's random D1 pressure exercise to test freezie's claim, e.g., a place to startnagerous wrote:Also, what is with the freezie wagon? It seems a little bit early to start pushing against inactives, I personally haven't been able to post over the last couple of days because I have been at work, down the pub/club and asleep. Everyone is pretty busy during the week so I am sure freezie will have a chance to catch up soon.

That was not the reason I queried your vote, it was because I thought it odd that someone would vote someone else because they were considered good. I have not played a game in six months but prior to that I have probably played over 50 games on this site, so yes I am familiar with the day 1 randomness. I know that your vote was not ultimately a serious vote and random and you were not actually trying to lynch me, I was still querying it though because the reasoning was slightly off. Was a very weak lead so I didn't even put a FOS or vote behind my response - but your reaction over a series of posts is somewhat tellingghostly447 wrote:Well he thought it was scummy when I voted him for "Never playing with him before". Only line in here that matters. That is why it is good meta to investigate the good players, the bad ones hang themselves.spiesr wrote: Of course, the flip-side to this, is that scum may also want to get those same players lynched day 1...

Mod we need some serious prodding.shieldgenerator7 wrote:where are you freezie?
I hate that it is always noobs that get lynched day 1, honestly I think I could drop a tell a minute and no one would lynch me (probably cursing myself).edocsil wrote:Only line in here that matters. Is this it?soundman wrote:On the topic of mass claim, I say NO! Not only is that not a fun way to play but I just don't see it working. Too easy for mafia to fakeclaim and then take out our power roles.

No, but now that I have a computer I'll add.![]()
What do you think of the freezie wagon? (which still exists)?
Usual Day 1 stuff. Unless someone does something scummy, Day 1 always has an inactive bandwagon. Though it seems to have gone a bit farther than usual. I don't think Clever should have jumped on but he's pretty new.
Is there anyone else that strikes you as scummy?
SG7. His post against Nag's on the wagon being too random made my scum meter jump. Nag had made a logical post and SG7 jumped on one sentence of it without seeming to read the rest.
What do you think of partial mass claims, top 3/5?
I'm number 4 and I don't think that would be a good idea. I have a pretty good idea of who the first three chose and I don't think it would help town to out those roles.
Why have did you not post in this thread over the past few days while you were active in other games?
I only made a post or two in one game and that was because it was super important. I had to counterclaim and so spent a long time making my fingers hurt while typing the posts out on my phone.
Were you lurking?
No.
