Concise description: I suggest an update to FoW in clanwars
allow clan members to see the map like they would if they were in the team.
Also add a sitting feature to avoid cheating
Specifics/Details:
While in a clanwar, allow all members of the clans to see the game as if they were in the game on the team that represents their clan.
The site allready tracks in which clan you are and makes use of it in several situations, so lifting fog for clan members only should be possible i guess
A proper sitting feature should be added to avoid cheating. Sitters would not see through the FoW and can not sit for clan games (unless they are in the same clan)
Travian has a sitter feature i believe, a simular feature could be used here. basically an option to list 1 or more persons as a sitter, and allow them to 'log in' your account with reduced privileges.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
Makes clanwars more fun
Allows clans to help each other in tough situations

There should first be a proper sitting feature. Otherwise with this implemented, all it would take is one guy in your clan to be the sitter of one guy in the other clan to see all their fog games.

that's a good call, i didn't think about that.
but when that sitting feature gets implemented, this one could be too.
I don't know, all this would really create is the top players from each clan basically playing the game for the team playing. Kind of like the Rodion/josko case (Just using this as an example). The top player could look in at each turn, tell the player what to do, then let him take his turn.
Game 1675072 2018-08-09 16:02:06 - Mageplunka69: its jamaica map and TFO that keep me on this site

+1
Really open to abuse, and just and even more difficult to prove.

This.
This post was made by jefjef who should be on your ignore list.

yes, it puts you on a usergroup with the clan.
Yeah, but does it exactly differentiate between which usergroup or clan you're in? I wouldn't want all my the people from Medal Heads (for eg) to see whats happening in my games? Specially if they're opponents?
This would be very impractical to do. Not only because it would foster "senior players" giving instructions to the other members of their clan, but currently CC doesn't differentiate between a usergroup and a clan, or even the TeamCC groups.
Allthough I understand that it isn't practically feasible, I would like to point out that the "senior players" argument is a bit of a nonargument. With active use of screenshots and a good forum, the top players already have the option of effectively playing every game in a clanwar. It costs them (a lot of) extra effort, but it is already possible to do.
