A cult recruiter is very dangerous. They usually start out by themselves or maybe with one other cult member but can grow very quickly. As far as mafia, we are looking into other leads but I would rather go with a guaranteed cult recruiter lynch than a possible mafia lynch. As far as Victor promising to help town...his actions thus far have been actions that have benefited himself. They may have benefited town as a side effect on one occasion but he used that to gain trust from town to keep him alive. His win condition is his own and his motives are his own. I do not trust this scenario to let the cult recruiter go.Leehar wrote:Wasn't it mentioned earlier that there are should at least be 6 or 7 mafia? And we've only got 1 or 2 so far with half the guys in the game gone? I can understand wanting to lynch Vic, but why chase a 'guaranteed non-mafia' pretty much? It just seems a bit counter-productive right now?
He says hes willing to work with us, and the mafia are the real bad guys, so is it not better to move on other leads? Heck, he could just work as another distraction for the mafia since if I understand correctly he could turn some of them to cult as well?
Idk, the numbers game doesn't look good to me with only a mafia framer and maniac gone just yet, so it'd could be useful to keep a claimed third party we know around if he doesn't present a danger right now.

Cult is cult is cult. You are claiming that being a hipster cult means you're survivors... but that doesn't really shake. If so, we should just keep you alive and make sure you recruit all of us, so we can all win lol. For all we know, you saw Edoc's status of survivor once he was expatriated from you cult and decided to claim the same status.Victor Sullivan wrote:I'm offering the town my services, and my win condition does not compete with yours. My mistake. I should have looked at the OP.safariguy5 wrote:Replaced by usAir, so no real excuse for continued silence.VioIet wrote:I just want to mention that JenBroness is no longer on CC if I recall correctly.
He was in my stool pigeon mafia game, and had never even opened his role pm. I had to replace him early on Day 1. So we probably won't be getting anywhere by starting a wagon on him.

That number was speculated based on game size. Since we have a cult recruiter, that number must be much lower. 6 or 7 only works without 3rd party cult possibilities.Leehar wrote:Wasn't it mentioned earlier that there are should at least be 6 or 7 mafia? Yeah I would say 4 tops. Given all the kills there could be a SK on top of it all tho...safariguy5 wrote:That number was speculated based on game size. Is there going to be a decision?

I think the mod set up 3 days as the minimum deadline. It WOULD definitely be nice to hear from Mets though.VioIet wrote:chapcrap wrote:That was written by the mod 8 days ago.pancakemix wrote:Metsfanmax is a BOSS. After 3 days he will determine a lynch by declaring who he wants executed.

Well, I logically assumed that 3 days, meant three real life days. So, could the mod have possibly meant Day 8?
I know that doesn't seem to make much sense, but its a viable explanation for why Mets hasn't declared a lynch yet.

Are you joking, insinuating a second SK who hasn't done anything, or indicating some sort of strange parallel dimension where the serial killer didn't die night 3...? Right, sheep was an SK. Seriously, what's the deal? This game is dying, and I don't think Mets' procrastination is helping the thread. I tried to add some diversity to his choices, but I can only do so much... no one else seems to be saying anything.
So for options, we've got Victor or my somewhat inconclusive case against JenBroness/usAir. Or Mets can let the deadline lapse, and he'll be auto-lynched. I'm quite confused about that, because pcm said three days in the original day scene, but the next post, he said "if I impose a deadline."
Anyway, Mets or pcm need to do something, or this game will just get slower and slower. I think everyone has already spoken their piece.

Indeed. (I do prefer a hands-off approach to moderating, though.)TA1LGUNN3R wrote:Anyway, Mets or pcm need to do something, or this game will just get slower and slower. I think everyone has already spoken their piece.

If I may speak without an air of hesitation, the case against Victor is without any real substance whatsoever. Not a single soul has offered evidence as to why the accused would voluntarily walk himself to the gallows by admitting his guilt. I would gladly send that man to meet his maker, in the true conviction of Bruce Springsteen. However, I believe this gap in the logic needs to be addressed: all that has been offered is advice regarding what to do now that he has admitted his status. I am not so easily convinced. Victor may be a poor Mafia player, but he is not that poor.TA1LGUNN3R wrote:This bump is one more step to wresting power from the bourgeois.

Victor did not admit to being the cult recruiter. Edoc who to have been recruited said he was at which point victor decided to admit it. If memory serves victor has also said he lost Edoc as a recruit BUT CAN STILL RECRUIT. If that is not grounds for lynching victor than I don't know what is.Metsfanmax wrote:If I may speak without an air of hesitation, the case against Victor is without any real substance whatsoever.
