ya like before, there are the people that only do it for money and fame, but there are also people that put everything they have into what they play, and practically almost kill themselves. THey know the consequences, but they just want to play, and win
I meet John Elway one time, and I think it is hard for him because he is not playing football anymore, yet he still gets a lot of money so that were I think it can get hard on a player that has played with all his heart.
Some of the players that play there hearts out are not always the ones that make the big bucks, or even make frist team.
Oh, what about fighting sports, since you talked about sports and fighting in them.
I have taken fencing lessions before, anyone else.
Oh, another cool sport that I have looked up is Bandy, it is like hockey only on a football (soccer) sized field. I still need to under stand how it is played.
By the way I looked up on Hurling, and it looks very cool.
Football is the greatest sport in the world, as its got speed, skill, popularity, and most importantly, passion. Aussie Rules is also really good, but I rarely watch it as it isn broadcast here at all.

It is a race against the clock in a forest and mountian areas, with makers that the racers must find. To tell you one thing you need to know a lot about how to read a map, which I can do, but as a sport, I could not find it that fun.

we have a legit at a breakout season. we got sam keller at QB hes got a hell of an arm and hes in the heisman race. We have a receiver named Mo Purify who definetly has the skills to play on sundays. Our O-line has alot of depth and experience. We have one of the best LB corps in the nation and we have some talent at RB. With that said, our secondary isnt looking to good. we had a great CB but he got hurt in spring drills and out for 4-6 months. and we have to replace our entire d-line we have some talent their but not much experience. we got a tough schedule next year. with USC, Texas, Texas AM, Wake Forest, a Nevada team you cant sleep on. hell we have a semi-legit shot at a national title i dont think its going to happen but theres people giving up a shot.
