ya your right. I think that there should be something for the application so only people who care about playing can play, and every game can hopefully be a good one.

Sadlly money is the main thing in sports now a days, I think college plays with more heart.

I think they can do with out a trash talker, that just puts a bad apple in the MLS.

Well worth a look

I have a friend from Cork who is on a working visa in New Zealand. He told me about hurling and it sounds pretty interesting. It actually sounds quite rough lol

ya, the MLS is probably the most gruesome soccer league of them all. American teams are always the ones fighting in sports

He's playing rugby league for a local club here in Auckland, like he did last year when he was on his first working visa. This year he's going to play for a more organised team though.

He told me about hurling and he said it was quite rough; for me, rough has to be something pretty bad because we say rugby and rugby league are rough sports! :D

thats true but i mean in baseball, some players have it preplanned that they want to fight with someone, and sometimes the fight is over nothing

I think rugby and league are just like any other 'rough' sport.

It's only rough to those who don't play it, because you actually have to train to the level of physical resilience that is needed. You can't just play chess for a couple of years then decide you want to play rugby all of a sudden, then jump on the field - you'll get smashed just as anyone would who hasn't had any training for a full contact sport.

I think gridiron football is rough. Some people here in NZ would say that it's not so rough because they play with all the pads and helmets and stuff, but I disagree. I think it is just as rough as rugby/league if not rougher; the players may have all the padding and safety equipment, but that just means they can throw their bodies into the game with much more reckless abandon than rugby/league players. Our players have to have a more technical aspect to the way they play so they don't risk injuring themselves.

ya football is a game of skill, but sports shouldnt be tied in with getting beat up every time. You should play sports that u might get hurt sometimes, but not every single game

yea in gridiron its alot rougher than any other form of football, because they arent as careful or cautious as us: they just want to go and play football, no matter what
