Anyway, 3 player bonuses are not OK by me - you can easily isolate 2 players, (3, not so much)
so I vote all future maps and other parts of this tourney to be with 4 players left at least.

and all games should be 8 player, 7 players feels like cheating...
I mean, you get 1 point for being there - killed first, instead of 0 in the 8 players games.

We've had people quit since we reached 64... I think we have 58 or 59 active players, which doesn't work out to an even number of 8 player games. Should I be calling up replacements, then?

The thing with advantages like that is that since we randomize the groups for every map, the advantage goes to someone different every time, so it should balance out.

the idea is - winner takes 10 points (in this case 0 because it's Dukasaur)
and the rest of the points 8+6+4+3+2+1 = 24 are divided equally to the rest of the players -- 24/7 = 3,43 (lets round it at 4)

- but in this particular case 4 players were already eliminated before the objective was won,
so the remaining three can divide points 8+6+4 = 18 -- 18/3 = 6 points for each player. So, the table would look like this:

I think it's fine the way you have it.

It's bad luck that two players got the bonus so soon after each other, but hey, if it was a Formula 1 race and 0.001 seconds separated the first car from the second car they would still give the cup to the first one.

Well, two of our freemies have resigned and three have upgraded, which is nice to see. So we're down to nine and I checked them all manually. They all have slots except severs, which is pretty good.

I am a little worried to see if anyone else intends to drop out, so I'll send a letter to the list anyway. (Actually, a couple resignations at this point would be okay... we have 58 players left; if we had 56 it would work out to evenly as seven 8-player games.)

Tomorrow I'll make the South America games.

You can go browse that, but if you want, I'll summarize for you:
You're standing in 51st place in a field of 58. You have 28 points, compared to the current leader, general_c, who has 74. It is theoretically still possible for you to catch up (there are enough points in the remaining games) but quite honestly if I had to bet real-world money on you, I wouldn't.

Moved by the children's condition, Lord and Lady Glenarvan decide to launch a rescue expedition. I don't know about that. It's not uncommon for freemiums to ask someone to kill them off so they can free up a slot. And since he's already resigned from the tournament it makes sense.

In any case, it's better for him to ask to be killed than to just deadbeat out.
