Last game of this Stage has been sent out so I'm kinda relieved because if those games begin then my job this stage is just sit back and wait while you finish your games. Of course, updating scoreboards might be a good idea also and I will do that if enough of games have finished

So, my main point in this post is that I'll be away from CC most of the next week so if anything scary happens (which I doubt though) then shotgun is in the corner, defend yourself!

Secondary point is to list the remaining active games of this Stage.
Group A: Game 8213244 (round 2), Game 8899933 (round 3), Game 9193526 & Game 9249314 (round 4)
Group B: Game 8248824 (round 2), Game 9120311 & Game 9249316 (round 4)

So, not too many, yet as we all know, they can take a while to finish.

Short note right now because I don't have time for proper update but I'm expecting one more game (group A assassin game) to finish and after that making a proper update.

Okidoki, time for a good full update. Scoreboard's updated! Yellow spots mark rounds that don't have final score (round 2 misses 2 games - both groups miss 1 game; round 3 has 1 game of group B missing).

2 rounds out of 4 are now finished in Stage 3 (round 4 also finished, besides round 1 that is over for a long time). In round 2 we have 1 active game (game 3 for group B) and in round 3 there is also 1 active game (game 3 for group A). So, now just waiting are waiting for the stalemate games to start moving and end.

Since the top 4 players can't be caught in Group B, it really doesn't matter how the votes go in that last remaining game (and it looks like it may go on forever).

Alright, it seems that we have our top 8 and the last 2 games cannot change that. What they can change is the reserve players but I am going to think positively and hope that reserves won't be needed. Oh, standings updated!

We are missing the whole game for group B but all 3 alive players have already assured a spot in finals. Even if the winner gives second place to somebody from bottom 4 then it won't change who will advance to finals in group B.

In group A we are missing points 5, 3 and 2 that need to be fought out between GlobeSmack, skillfusniper33 and MyTurnToWin in Game 8899933. It won't change who gets which points, not even with the reserve player.

Oh, poptartpsycho18 (group A) will be first reserve because even if RB or ga7 (group B) get 13 points from the last remaining game then they will have altogether less points than pop.

So, may the finals begin! (I'm making preparations now to get it started).

I don't know how you have managed to stay alive so long and haven't ran from me but now the final road of torture starts for this tournament. I would like to get to a pace 3 games played at once but right now bigreuben (our only freemium in finals) is stuck in a game so we cannot get to 3 games before the game of previous stage is over First 2 games have been sent out, may the best player win!

I just logged into my account and the first thing I saw was an invitation to the final round!... and I got all giddy inside.
This has been one heck of a tourney to participate in. It was a great concept to begin with. The competition has been fierce but fun. Thanks amazzony for keeping it alive. Looking forward to some great battles!

I believe the original 4 from my 1st group, 1st round (Danryan, Bigreuben and Dimnjacar) all made it to the final round, that's pretty good I think. Though Dim' did take the place of MrMoody (in 2nd round), it's still a good showing.

It's too bad any reward has been taken away for this tourney, it has been a long hard road and winner and runner-up, etc., really do deserve something.
A lot of us who started this tourney are still here and I think this has been going on at least a year.
Amazony, thanks for your time and effort, I don't know everything that goes on, but I have no doubt you spend a bit of your free time working on this stuff. It is greatly appreciated.
Since you do know what is going on (I believe we chatted about this a while back), do you know why the prizes were taken away from this tourney? I've played in quite a few tourneys
(not a bunch), but if ever a tourney deserved a prize, this is it.
Any chance the powers that be would reconsider?
Isn't it in the interest of CC to back some of these tourneys?

I believe the Prize was only offered by the original organizer when it start, and no one else wanted to give the prize out. But Yes I agree it should have one since this one was one that was a pain for most of us.

I'm happy to hear positive tone from the players who advanced to finals because it is giving me the hope that you'll survive the last 6-7 months (don't think we can count it ending any sooner) of this tournament. It has been quite a bit of work but seeing that there are still people who visit this topic and are interested in the tournament gives me the charge of positive energy to keep going. I'm hoping that my workload will be quite small now because there's just 1 group and most of the time I just need to sit back and wait for the games to finish. Really, only 12 games left!


Yes, skill is correct. The original organiser offered the prize and neither CC nor I can force him to give it out. It is a shame, I admit, because a player who wins this tournament has some serious skill and dexterity but I cannot offer the prize myself and therefore only award that goes with winning the tournament is the admiration of myself and probably all the players who played in the tournament.

I noticed that round 3 games are finally finishing, too. One game is over (I am collecting points even though it doesn't change results) and second game should also end shortly.

In the finals, third game of round 1 should end soon also. So, I am going to wait for these three games to finish before I make a bigger scoreboard update (it is easier for me to do everything at once).

First round of finals is fully over, with scoreboard updated. danryan has taken a lead with 34 points, bigreuben, Bigragooch, Miandw and GlobeSmack not far with 28, 27, 26 and 24 points. Joe B., ZionT and DimnjacarStef are little further with 14, 6 and 3 points. Everything can still be turned around in the next 3 rounds though. Especially in the second round which has almost started (2 games are active, third just sent out).
