I know he is around as he is in my clan so there is no reason for him not to be talking here.

Oh, well in that case he isn't just inactive, he's lurking as well.

If he is lurking around then heck why not. Time to up the pressure I guess. And safari, I was stating that a inactive lynch is likely a town lynch. Every townie is important, even those who aren't around. Because heck we might win thanks to one teensy decision. vote ckyrias

I actually agree with safari. In a game this large, the inactives are going to be dead weight, and it will be hard to get a replacement. I believe about six people had to be replaced already- and there is only one more replacement available on the list. I'd say from this point forward, if someone remains to be inactive, and there is no replacement in the works, the best thing would be to lynch them.

* resumes drinking

Agreed. In a game this large, we won't get the replacements needed for a lynch. And ckyrias has been active on the site, no reason to not be here. unvote vote ckyrias

A lynch is better than a no lynch because we have vote pattern information. I'll wait for a vote count before I add any pressure.

Sorry, I was missing for about four days due to internet issues, no excuse before that though.

it seems the noose quickly tightened around ckyrias' neck, 12 voters in a row and then a C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER from safari, still tight and restrictive, a threatening force on ckyrias air flow, but not enough to cause death.... ME GUSTA

Yeah, probably enough pressure to hear from ckyrias if they come around.

ok... you expect me to follow 100% the banter between the fans pointing the finger to those who claim a meme role as suspicious and to those that say its irrelevant? i will pass! i am not experienced but i will not be lynched for not being active.. if you look for a quick lynch just to get the game going is fine.... but i am here and trying to follow the game between very experienced players while this is my second game...

unvote, vote drake_259

its the easiest way to get a lynch! lynch the new or the quiet guy!! convenient but heavily suspicious tactic!

The bandwagon did seem to develop rather quickly once it was brought forward.

That was verily a speedy wagon on which the band did form. I hereby proclaim that I refuse to abscond with the members of this band. The case presented is simply not justifiable given that the accused has now shown his face.

This is exactly the problem with a lot of the newer players. Saying that "Oh, I'm reading along with the thread but have nothing to add" amounts to basically active submarining. The discussion about PR's and meme lists is definitely something valid, and at the very least, I would expect everyone to either say "yes I think this is a useful list" or "no, I think this list is useless". You can at the very least take a stand on an issue. When a case against someone comes up, the very least you can do is indicate whether you support the case or you don't.

Having gotten that off my chest, what exactly is your reason for voting drake? Because he wasn't real active? Voting with no real reasoning is not scoring townie points in my book. And I think a claim is in order here too. The first real case of the game I think warrants a claim, especially since it's Day 1 and we need some sort of information.

Sir, how were you able to surmise the existence of case against the accused? I see simply a wagon upon which a band has played, somewhat akin to a lynching mob who are not quite sure what they are up to. Raise the evidence against the accuse, I demand this of you!

Quite simply, we picked an inactive and then pressured for a claim. So inactive pops up, says "I have nothing to add to the discussion" and immediately throws his vote on someone else. No claim, but it does look like he's trying to shift pressure onto drake. I'm not defending drake, but I see no reason to take pressure of cky yet because all he's basically done is post saying "I'm here". No comment about the compiling of PR's and memes.

UNVOTE

First off I would like to let everyone know that I will be traveling for the next few days due to going back to school so I will be on much less, but should be able to check in every night for this stuff.

Second I was ready to get moving and learn some more information from others due to who dies, and what roles they were, and how they possibly effected the game.

I was going to object to this bandwagon but seeing the lack of activity made me consider otherwise. The speed at which this bandwagon formed compared to the number of players and the volume of discussion before hand is rather jarring. Hopefully we can get some discussion going now that we have some attention.

ckyrias wrote:ok... you expect me to follow 100% the banter between the fans pointing the finger to those who claim a meme role as suspicious and to those that say its irrelevant? i will pass!

Yes I do expect you to follow 100% of the banter. If you don't you're skimming. Do you have to comment on it? Not really but you do need to post something. My past few posts have had very little substance to them.

Metsfanmax, just because he showed his face once while under pressure means very little. I need another post or two before I'm ready to accept that he's active again. I see you trying to take advantage of the speed at which this bandwagon formed. Getting set up for a case against those in the bandwagon looks like a safe scum move to me.

Skull you hop on the bandwagon without a word and I see you trying to sneak off before it gets hot. I'm watching you.

Ckyrias, I am glad you came back and that you are reading and trying to be active now. However, the bandwagon formed on you rather quickly, and you had quite a few votes on you. I think that means you should consider claiming fairly soon.

I don't think anyone is going to follow your lead on to drake, because there wasn't much substance there.

So dazza, who cares that you can make 9000 posts in one day. You think that makes you tough or something? You haven't lived, until you have drank your own bodily fluids. Trust me, I've drank that apple juice over 9,000 times. In fact, I've drank it so many times- that your 9,000 looks measly in comparison. If you want a challenge, I dare you to. Bet you aren't man enough...or....eh....woman enough to do so :-s
