Is there an insurance policy that covers damage to reputation due to the spreading of utter lies? Tires, and windows can be replaced. Coworkers thinking you've got a crack habit, and a handful of "social diseases" isn't as easy to fix.

But we haven't actually seen 'her' around anywhere either?
Heck, we've seen pics of her floating around even here, so it's not beyond the realms of conspiracy.
I didn't even know about any of the acting stuff (that was pretty cool tho), so there's always extra bits and pieces floating about...

For the record tho, I'm not really defending her( doubt we were ever even the best of friends-she didn't even mention me in her farewell ) and I probably quite hated her at some point, but still it's not like nobody noticed there was sometimes something off with her, yet at the same time she was relatively reasonable on the whole (and who isn't crazy once in a while, I even worry about some peoples deity delusions) so at the end of the day does it really matter whether it's psychotic-ism, a personal disorder, or the coma and injuries mentioned. The points that ns made about it being more worthwhile to believe possible delusions than using the galling tone that jef mentions about owen, still holds true.

Why does any of this matter? Shes gone. If you liked her, you will miss her regardless of why, and if you disliked her or thought her a liar, then shes gone, and you don't need to trouble yourselves about her, or deal with her, ever again. I feel this whole thing is being taken way out of proportion. My two cents as a neutral bystander is it would be best to stop letting this cause tension.
