Firstly, I do apologise for letting this slide. School's really cranking up right now and unfortunately I couldn't find the time to do this. Particularly frustrating as this was a scene that I wanted to show and do right.
The HoundHe could have hardly said that he enjoyed being back in King's Landing. The journey was long and arduous, many were disappointed with how long it took but the Hound could but hope it was for the better. As the Riverlands turned into an outright battleground after the events that he saw, he knew that the safer he would be the better. That had proven to be asking too much. He had not been in the city for an entire day yet, but seemed to be a popular man as any. Maybe because he was a proper lord and all, after his brother's death, though he never intended on visiting his holdings. A knock sounded on his door. It wouldn't be him again, would it? The thought flashed across his mind, but was dismissed. When a guard of his opened the door however, the Hound had greatly wished that it had been true. Instead the Queen strode in, surrounded by more than enough guards to subdue him and his paltry household.
"You didn't think we'd just let you run back here, with your tail between your legs. You and your household still serve my father and my son. Or have you forgotten the Lannister words?” the Queen spoke.
“Bugger you and your words and your house” The Hound snarled, the Lannister guards the very same that stopped him from killing his brother.
“The wolf rises in treachery and it seems the dog has followed him. Regardless neither you and your men will pose no danger. I’ll have no traitors in the city threatening me or my son”
The Hound could but laugh. The Queen slapped him, but the Hound roared and drowned out whatever question she had.
“Your men are all subdued. You will pose no threat” The queen now screamed at him.
“My men were never a threat. But they’re not my men” He may never be able to kill his brother, but the flash of fury and fear on Cersei’s face was sweet enough.
“Whose?”
“Some highborn twat, no doubt.”
“Are you stupid or does your treachery know no bounds? Do you not know the Lannister words?” Cersei screamed.
“A Lannister always pays his debts. It happens to be that the Lannisters owe me a relative.”
The Queen left scurrying and all her men after her.
Maybe King’s Landing wouldn’t be so bad.
CerseiIt had been going so well. The younger, more beautiful queen was gone, her stunted awful brother gone with her. She had never realised that there were so many working against her and her children. But who was moving against them now? The Starks were surely too far, but who now would strike the Lannisters. And whom as well? Her brother or Joffrey?
She heard the sound of steel and feared for her own life for the first time, but it was only her guards. She followed their gaze and her insides turned to stone. Guards lay splattered along the courtyard, the colour of blood and Lannister alike amongst the courtyard.
Her horse strode through the mess. Good. If bodyguard cannot do their job, this is the least they deserve. An obviously wounded guard slumped against the wall seemed to be only one left alive by this point.
“What happened?”
“Men came. More than a hundred stormed us…we…”
Stupid and craven, she thought. Where had all her loyal, competent allies gone? The Hound was the best bodyguard her son had, but she had so many guards, surely some could’ve stopped whoever came here. Her thoughts trailed off but were recalled as the guard called back.
“Water, please”
She stared at her captain and nodded. She saw the sword leave the sheath, but she only heard the slice.
The interior was just as bloody and infuriating as the courtyard. Her guards tried to overtake her but Cersei noticed that she was running. She wondered when she had started. She swung the door and the sight she knew was true, spread out before her. Her beautiful son, lay murdered with not even a Kingsguard cloak nearby

Cersei seized the captain of the guard nearby.
“I want the one responsible, brought to me before daybreak”
“Who’s responsible” the guard stammered.
“Who do you think, cretin?” She screamed and the guards left her all to her son.
Eddard StarkEddard couldn’t sleep. His daughter’s face remained in his eyes when he closed them, the mob carrying her off. There was nothing he could do as his own daughter was killed. No parent should outlive their child, not one who had been fully grown. Sansa was still a child at heart, so excited that she was to be wed to that blond bastard Joffrey. Ned wondered if her daughter’s death pleased him.
An urgent knock sounded at the door and disturbed him. The light was too dim to tell which guard it was, but his panting made it clear.
“Sire! We must wake the household at once. There’s open war and bloodshed in the streets”
“War? But Tywin’s and my son’s forces are far too up north …”
“Not their men, your lord. Joffrey, the prince has been killed”
Ned’s blood froze. Tywin’s and his son’s movements were hostilities that Robert could’ve ended. Now Ned didn’t know who he would side with.
“Hurry, my lord. The Queen has captured your wife”
CerseiShe wasn’t sitting on the Iron Throne, but Cersei would carry out what she knew a king would do.
The doors opened and her guards dragged Catelyn Stark inside, which puzzled her to no end.
“I asked for the one responsible. And how on earth did you find her?”
“We were brought to it” the guard beamed.
Cersei conceded her anger at her guards, and perhaps they were right. If Catelyn was secretly in King’s Landing it was probably her who sent the men under the cover of the night.
“Ser Ilyn Pane” she called out to the silent shadow, always waiting by. “Execute Catelyn Stark for treason and murder of Joffrey Baratheon, first of his name”.
The executioner smiled. He does so love his work, Cersei thought.
“Would not keeping me as a hostage suffice” the auburn traitor pleaded.
Cersei paid it no mind. A lion does not bow to the bleatings of sheep lined up for slaughter. And what a slaughter there shall be, starting with her.

That was but the start. Her husband, all her children, the Hound, they would all see what see what happens to those who rise against Lannisters. This is what Tywin would do, she smiled proudly. The doors opened and Cersei spun to see what news had been brought to her.
The sight stopped her in her tracks. The Young Wolf marched towards her.
“You were in the Riverlands” She screamed. This was not fair, why now, too much had already happened.
“My trip may have taken a while, but I assure you it will be worth it”
The Young Wolf’s contingent tore through her guard like paper, but Cersei spun away. She would fight like a lioness if she had to.
She dodged one man, but another, standing well over a foot over her grabbed her and tossed her to the ground like a rag.
“My father will give you land and wealth beyond your Northern dreams” She screamed. The young boy took but one glance at the body of his mother, its blood still seeping into the floor and swung the sword.
