Only a double, safariguy, I broke it up :P ;)

Also, that's probably good you replaced TSL, he's supposed to go out of town on the 31st anyway.

I'm assuming the shadowy group would be moms goons and them with mom would be a perfect 4 group mafia (3 goons + GF). The doomsday device reference is a somewhat of a bigger mystery, but scammers (probably the main scammer would be the best bet) did used to have those and would fit SK flavour.
But... It was so artistically done.

Santa Claws is obviously the SK. you seemed to have forgotten his appearance. Thankfully Nag saved whoever it was who was targeted about the only good thing that seems to have happened last night. With that I think the doomsday device was more of a mishap in general. Mom and her sons probably make the most sense if we are dealing with an organized mafia consisting of a group that should be related anyways.

I was actually referring to the very first paragraph when I mentioned scammers, but yes, you are right on about Santa as the one who was responsible for the failed kill. So, there's at least 3 possible kills (perhaps 4, if we have a vig), which does not really bode all that well.

Also, if Nibbler was a SANE TOWN COP (specifically) that means we probably also have another cop who is insane. Basically, what that means, if you are a cop and you got an innocent result... You got scum.

It is just as likely that the other cops are naive or insane. We can't assume in a situation like this.

Also either a vig tried to fire or we have a couple of SKs or two mafia groups. This may be very hard.

3 kill attempts? god damn it.

If a vig is responsible, stop shooting unless you're sure of what you're doing ...

Qft on the doc possibly being naive. Don't rush into something becaus e you got an innocent result and commander (who is still rising up my scum ladder) suggests you may be insane.

As far as the doomsday device. I think you guys are a bit off track on the role that was responsible for that kill however I'm not convinced it is best for me to reveal my thoughts on that kill.

Mom and sons is most likely mafia in my mind. Robot mafia is the only other "bad" group that comes to mind and appears in the show often enough so thats also a possibility.

Being mildly familiar with flavor (lol) I think you guys might be off on the doomsday device. Professor farnsworth had a collection of them in the show. If hes not an inventor role I'll be very surprised. And if I remember correctly, inventors just use an item randomly without being told what it does.

Might as well say it Proffessor Farnsworth was who I was thinking of as well. It's hopefully just a mishap where he was just trying to use his invention on someone who didn't really stick out day 1. I don't think he'd have the intention to kill night 1. An inexperienced vig might but an even an inexperienced joat/inventor may want to try saving the "fun ability" for later.

Yowza, well the roles I think are among the interesting tid-bits of all this. Roles seem to be logically (at least do a degree so far) related to the actual portrayal of the character on the series.

So role claiming from now on can be a bit of a double-edge, maybe even triple-edge---there is a possibility we could learn or feel confident who has what character/role if it makes sense, there is also a possibility about tipping off non-town folks, and also the possibility that non-town folks would try to use their fake claims, which might be convincing, unless we figured out if their character/role jived with precedents so far.

Anyways, I think I'm more confused now than I was before.

Alright, outside of the speculation ( which I most agree with ) am going to vote: gilligan

His '' don't kill me I am important'' feels scummish to me, and without a sane cop here ( if you're an insane/naive/para cop, you'll know your usefulness starting from next time, depending on what result you get and how you can interpret it ) might as well start something.

Professor Farnsworth: And so we say goodbye to our beloved pet, Nibbler, who's gone to a place where I, too, hope one day to go. The toilet.

I think Gilligan was too quick to lynch sax(me) on Day 1, while admittedly skimming over the thread. I wouldn't mind hearing his defense.

Sorry, that was worded poorly. I know you were about the last to put a vote on, however, you were the only one to vote after the new information came out. It appears to me you were just jumping on the bandwagon to get someone lynched.

By defense, I meant "why we shouldn't lynch you".

Zapp Brannigan: Oh Leela! You're the only person I could turn to; you're the only person who ever loved me.
Leela: I never loved you.
Zapp Brannigan: I meant physically. Look, perhaps you could let me work for a little food? I could clean the floors or paint a fence, or service you sexually?
Leela: You don't know how to do any of those.
Zapp Brannigan: Kif might!
