I love how the simple act of being foed causes some people internal torment and moral dilemma.

If I were in this situation I would foe the person - send a profanity laced flaming pm to him and tell all my friend about it. Maybe even get a cat.

Good thread! btw. This is internet. Not rl.

bs jj. you would cry like a little girl without her dummy(pacifer for the seppos(americans), not a derogatory term for intellectually challenged people), wailing at the injustice, searching frantically through your memory for what it was you did. Trying to make things right would consume your every waking moment. Please be honest with the community jefjef.

I think the term foe is BAD. Why not use the word ignore, much more truthful. Nations and tribes have foes.... Not some bespeckled nerd(nothing against those with less than 20/20 vision) sitting at a computer drooling and thinking "I shall foe this vile oxygen thief than he/she/it will be so very, very sorry". Sorry what your really doing is ignoring someone, making them go away so you don't have to read the dysentery draws dribble they write.

I am amazed at how some people get upset about someone not wanting to play against them. I have probably over 1,000 on my foe list with the overwhelming majority having to do with deadbeats who miss turns on purpose or for some kind of "strategy." There are 20,000 other opponents out there so what difference does it make if someone for whatever reason doesn't wish to engage in a game with you? When I foe someone there isn't anything personal. I simply wish to play someone else. I'm sure I have made someone's foe list but I'll never know because I almost never join games. Regards.

Wait, so if someone doesn't use cheap tactics but plays in a bunch of games with you you'd still foe them?

I've never foed anyone who I see in a lot of games, mainly because there's a lot of players who play tourneys and clan challenges require playing the same person multiple times.

I have no idea what your question is. Simply put, for awhile it took forever to finish a game because of deadbeats and they seemed to keep joining and missing turns. That's when I established the Premio doctrine. If someone misses turns I don't wish to play them. It's still amusing how upset someone gets if a player wishes not to play them when there are 20,000 other opponents to choose from. Nuff said.

Still, clan challenges and tourneys negate foe lists, so thats not really a problem.

In regards to the Poll, if a user just seemed to randomly add me to their Foes List, and I've had little contact/game-playing with them, I'd just write them off.

If someone who I had a history with (lots of game history or something like that), I'd be more inclined to send a PM, but I'm not entirely sure I still would.

I was foed by a guy and asked why. He said he was medal hunting and would remove me. We had played a lot of games together. I am still foe and I think it is because I kicked his ass all the time

The question is more directed at the underlined portion of the quote, it makes it sound like "you wanting to play someone else" implies the person is active and didn't miss turns. Foe deadbeats by all means, but in public games, if I see the same player in a bunch of my games, I don't foe them so I can play someone else. Sounds like you just foe deadbeats in your public games though, I was confused at the odd wording.

*sigh*

I foed you S. You were ruining a perfectly lovely thread just to be an ass, period. You don't actually play the game here, so it has nothing to do with your competitive ability....just that you're annoying as hell.

I did it reasonably, just so as to NOT have to read your fooking blather. YOU, however, went on to make many nasty remarks about ME and my preferences, my tastes, my habits and me as a person - just over foeing.

This thread, therefore, is incredibly hypocritical, n'est-ce pas? "Morality"? Really??

I wish the foeing action would axe the quoted foe-ee's posts as well....

And lastly, if by "replying" you mean a PM, then no you shouldn't as I believe the foe-ee's PMs are auto-blocked from the Foe-er's mailbox......

That's all - I'm outaa here...too painful.....must wash.........

I have said this before, but I used to foe everyone under 1000. This made it so I could have the best potential to gain points. Nothing against all those that are on the list, just like to win points when I do win. I dipped below 1000 while playing assdoodles for the medal, maybe some people foed me as well.

I foed the user in question a long time ago. I can't stand idiots, and am always tempted to call such people out on their idiocy. Conquer Club, however, tends to think of that as "flaming" (see my ban for the use of the word "moron"), and bans me for it. Hence, the foe list has saved me from earning my month-long ban. I'll continue using the foe list, and add to it as necessary, in order to keep myself from being banned.

I'd like to note here, for the sake of the over-zealous mods, that I have NOT referred to anyone in particular as an "idiot" in this post. I am saying that if there were an "idiot" posting in these forums, that I would not be able to stand such a person, and would foe them. People on my foe list may or may not be idiots; I can not possibly comment, seeing as I no longer read posts made by people on my foe list. No flaming was committed in this post.
