Hardly. The note was in reference to the blackmail going on. Basically "bring the evidence you have against me and I will show you where the money is" it is not something to mention, whether you are town or scum. If you are scum the reasons are obvious. If you are town you don't post incriminating info, it will lead to the town wasting valuable time in hanging you.

Certainly I have no more explaining to do then SG. With my second investigation I had two choices, post the results of my weapon or post nothing at all. I could have kept both to myself, but my desire to help the town was enough to warrant the risks IMO. Hopefully I will not be proven wrong.

How is a note about blackmail illegible? Your defense is amost illegible. Being vague won't get you far here.

That is weird everyone investigated the same rooms. But i wish i would have investigated the billiard room to find out the information that everyone else received.

Also i asked safie if he had any preference in what rooms he wanted. he said no so i suggested the conservatory and also the rope.

You are being blackmailed so and in order to clear your name you have to pay people??? so what is your win condition?? are you anti town?? or town. Cause it does not sound like your innocent, Buy you could just be a pawn for us town to chase and wast a kill on you and you are town. And also with this money thing is this a recruiting role? what is the bennift of giving you back this information?? and now that it is out how incriminating can it be?? did you kill some one?? I sugested to shield Billiard Room as a random choice, for no particular reason.
I also sugested the wrench my reason being one motorist is likely scum, perhaps the wrench was used to fix or break the car.

Target. The point of this game is twofold for town. One, outlast the scum, two steal the money. I do not steal the money, the guests do. My WC has nothing to do with me getting the money, I just want to end Mr. Boddy's continued blackmail.

Lets say I have found a note like, "“I will leave info about war bonds located at this place tomorrow night. Just bring the blackmail you've got about me.” And I have no blackmail at all do I go tell everyone that? No, because you then all assume that I am blackmailing people and hang me. You know this and understand this, I just hope you remember it before decide to hang me. Everyone who investigated that room got the note, and unless I am incredibly mistaken none of us have blackmail against a guest.

If for some misguided reason you wish to lynch someone for lying about the note go for shield, he is less useful then I am.

I have an idea. This idea may not work. Every pair of people needs one person to write down WHO suggested the investigation. My guess is that since so many people did the wrench and billiards room, maybe the scum actually did plan to lead everyone there.

The scum leading townies to the same locations? I find this interesting, strategy wise. I think we could use this to our advantage, but for some reason my partner and I are both cleared, yet we investigated the same room. Maybe ben's confirmation as town was meant for the other player who claimed motorist? Or maybe we just happened to search the same room as the scum plotted? IDK, I think I influenced it all when I looked at the flavor for after N0 and saw that the lounge and revolver were key places and objects and investigated those and got back helpful results. I personally believe that's why everyone investigated the same rooms and objects last night: they were following the flavor like I had done.(which was my sneaky little plan... he he (no, jk )).

yeah, I wouldn't say either of us insisted on it, I listed off each rooms i portance so far and I said I prefered the ballroom,dining room or hall since they were not investigated at the time, then told daze to go with whatever she wanted+the wrench since that too wasn't claimed. daze said the conservatory, (because that and the kitchen involved david bill) the library and the billiard room because they had no result from the claimed, I pointed out david bill is dead and agreed to the billiards because mass (the one who claimed no result there) hasn't been cleared and for some reason I confused him with ben (the other to claim no result and the other supposed motorist who investigated the library).
