can i just JOIN a doubles game?

i'm curious what the ettiquette around here is... most of the doubles games i see, there's full teams in it already, waiting for the next team to join... is that because most people play in predefined teams?

if i join a 6 player doubles game that already has 4 players in it, will i be condemming it to an early grave because noone will join as the 6th player since they dont know me?

or is randomly joining a doubles game relatively acceptable behaviour?

i dont want to step on anyone's toes, but i'd like to try a few doubles (and maybe even triples) games...

Its acceptable, but I dont recommend, because you can get a recruit (possibly deadbeat) or a guy without any team strategy (as you, probably, since you never played teams), and you will probably be smashed without mercy. I recommend you play some standard, until you can find a player you can invite to be your partner... preferently a well ranked one that you will simply obbey (and learn) in the begginning.

u know trips rule they are all i play and u can join team games without knowing some one

i prefer doubles... triples are cool rhough.

i used to just join a doubles game so i could find a partner and low and behold on my fourth game i found ronaldinho who is now my partner. we work well together and we both enjoy playing with each other
