Mega Games

I checked on the list and it wasn't there.

What if there was the option to have realy large games. Huge specialy designed maps, with lots of players (like 16 or something crazy).

It would if made probably work best only if people who ahev played X number of games were allowed to join so as to avoid endless amounts of deadbeating.

Thoughts?

Would be extremely entertaining, although you run into the issue of the game simply taking too long to play.

16 players means a maximum of 16 days between your previous turn and your next turn..which, needless to say, is insane. You'd have games going on for months.

If this is considered for implementation, CC developers might consider also giving the option of changing the maximum time between turns (IE, 12 or 24 hours) which might speed up gameplay a bit.

Overall, however, I like the concept, I think it would be a lot of fun.

I tried to join one not long after getting premium, but there were more players than territories, had to be cancelled I guess. I'll be ready for the next one.

LOL i bet every1 starts with 1 territory

the lucky guy is the 1 to go 1st though!!!...and if he is wise enough he wont try any stupid attack :wink:

I think for it to work properly you would need specificly HUGE maps specialy tailored for the event. W2.1 is the only one capable atm of having any chance with it, and even that is small when you're talking LOTS of people.

Also, if you did Freestyle then its still the 1 day max per turn.

i remember the never starting game with about 200 people in. i thought i'd got in on a battle royal but no :cry:

i almost did. i really wanted 1 and made a suggestion thread etc and pmed D2A. couple of weeks later 1 started (probably just coincidence) and i just missed it. still theres always next time
