Im in 34335 with him, which is a doubles game so it doesnt matter. But they play every game together and they arent all doubles so it isnt cool.

Well Im less sure now, they deny it and seem pretty convincing. Would appreciate an IP check on them though, as they do stick together to play singles games.

and then I would appreciate an apology too. As I said in the game chat, we are friends, we discuss strategy in our doubles games over the phone and in private messages and we are generally in contact when we take our turns. Tex is a friend of mine in Texas and I live in Georgia. We play doubles together because we like to strategize and because Tex is colorblind and it is even with the greasemonkey script it is easier for him to play doubles where I can spot things more easily than he can.

If discussing strategy and tactics with your partner is wrong- I don't want to be right.

I demand CC check our IP addresses and when we are exonerated they remove this post. Joe is mad he lost that's all.

jonboyau and I are simply friends who are both Auburn Univ graduates.

Also FYI, we played against one another in game #26863 a singles game in which jonboyau beat me.

I find this false accusation HIGHLY offensive.

I am very curious: what exactly leads you to believe we are cheating in the first place?

Because we move quickly one after another (and after our opponents)? Have you heard of the NOTIFIER app?

Because we have coordinated attacks? Maybe it is because we are trying to play well together.

Because our names both have AU in them? If we were cheating would we really do something so blatantly obvious as make our names similar?

Because we play doubles games together a lot? Maybe we are just friends who enjoy playing together.

That is just too funny. I mean really, all he did was ask to have both your accounts checked for being multi's. Fair enough you're not, but it's not like he was nasty about it or anything, I thought he was polite in his request.

You dont find being accused of cheating offensive? I guess even more when it is something like a game of risk. You have to be pretty pathetic to spend the time to cheat here if you ask me.

Integrity does mean something- to me if not to you.

Oh it certainly does, and that's why I'm glad that people will post a simple message in here if they are in doubt. As you can see many are completely innocent, however some do get busted. If I had to be accused of being a multi 10 times for every genuine cheat that got busted, well that's fine by me.

Well, my alter-ego imaginary friend whatever you want to call him is high strung. You oughta see him play poker.

I guess while I find the initial accustion annoying, bringing it here when it is fairly clear from the game chat that there is more room for doubt than evidence of guilt pisses me off more. Where I come from you don't accuse people of being a cheat unless you are pretty damn sure. If I was in Joe's shoes I guess I would have sent the moderator a private message asking him to check it out rather than making a public accusation based on basically nothing.

As I said originally, he wasn't nasty, he asked the question, there were less dramatic ways to answer it though

what you dont know dexter is we DID deal with this with him in the game chat yet he chose to then go take it public.

Going off half cocked is HIS problem; when he chose to falsely accuse me of something---PUBLICALLY---it became my problem.

Like I said, I welcome the mods to run a check on our accounts. Please do. And when they do I request they post what they found right here for all to see.

Then we will see what Joe has to say and see if he is as public in his apologies as he is in his accusations.

Right, because multis always admit to being cheaters when asked and never lie when confronted.

This forum exists because you can't trust total strangers and so that the mods can investigate suspicious things out deeper than normal players can. Players submit examples because mods can't be everywhere, mods then look and render a verdict based on what's they find. Don't complain just because the system is working like its supposed to.

Hey mulitis are a big problem here and ruin the the integrity of the game. When two guys play as you do, in most games together and moving at the same time as you do, that could be two friends playing or it could be a multi. Besides an IP check there is no wy of knowing which is which. If you are going to play like that expect somebody to ask to have you checked out, and dont expect a simple denial to do the trick. Highly offensive, cripes. Grow a thicker skin. If Im ever seen playing with the same guy over and over and we move almost simultaneously I'll expect somebody to have me checked out and wont go apeshit when it happens.

I agree and you'd be amazed. There are a lot of kids that play here and will cheat to get points and ranks, as silly as that sounds. I wouldnt give a damn except that it ruins my fun in my little games, which I just want to play on the up and up.

Joe, I don't even have a problem with the post here though our game chat would have given me pause for thought as an accuser. Personally, I think accusations couched in terms that Jota and PHX99 have used in threads close to this one are more reasonable. I guess it was your flat statement that we were cheaters in the game chat that I met with initial disbelief and then some aggravation.

If you ask me, the whole thing has been worth it just to enjoy Alstergren's comment- good stuff

I also understand the desire to ferret out cheaters- I think I am involved in a game with a multi now and it is no fun. I don't see the pleasure anyone derives from winning an unfair game. I don't play for points I play for the game.

So, I am happy to shake hands with everybody here, wish them well and beat their asses at the table

Twill and Lack are both busy people. The reason why there is a guide for reporting abuse, and also this forum in general, is to help ease the load on their inboxes. Here everything is condensed and they can go through the various accusations quicker.
