Me thinks you did overthink that a bit, as I like the show too (and wonder some of the comments they would do with the likes of The Last Airbender and Dragonball Evolution).

Well wonder no more. Rifftrax is the new iteration of the MST3K format, and they can make fun of whatever they want. A quick check showed that they had one for The Last Airbender.
