So they actually use Escalating at a r/l Risk tournament? That's so weird. Until I discovered CC, every Risk game I'd ever played or seen played was just regular Flat Rate. I assumed that's all anyone in the real world played. (I'm not complaining -- I'm actually quite good at Escalating now and I'll be very happy to play it. I'm just really, really surprised to hear about it being used in an r/l game.)
