And in other news, OSA has done pretty well, but with Legends' 20th victory, OSA's in the position of having to win all 6 remaining games to advance, while Legends need one.
OSA have done really well. I've been watching those fixtures with some interest to see if they could close the gap a bit more. Winning that crucial 20th game though is a nice cushion for LoW. Well done to both clans for a great series of games and kudos to OSA for punching above their weight.
I hope LoW go on to do well this tourney.
Highest position #5 (18 Nov 2010) General 4,380pts (11 Dec 2010)
BPB - THOTA (also known as Fruitcake vs Blitz ) TFFS (probably) - AOC LOW - Legion Mythology/AFOS - TSM KORT - G1 FOED - IA EMPIRE-Nemesis BOFM - TOFU
Lowest seed to advance from round 1 will be TFFS if they can clinch the win over ID. Myth and AFOS is still undecided as well.
I see the potential for a lot of 'upsets' in this round, the quality of gameplay from mid-level clans is increasing and increasing and no match in this line up will be easy for any of the clans.

We're up 19-12 with strong leads in two No-Spoil games and at least 4 other games still too close to call. Myth would need some amazing play and luck to beat us. So Monkeys -- watch out, here comes the Fist!
Yes, we knew this was going to be pretty tight but we also knew the winners should be decided by this week and we wanted to keep this thing moving along. Remember, after sending games you still have 5 days to join the away games if you so choose.
Most who commented in the CLA thread agreed to keep it to a tight schedule so we aren't dragging out the semis and finals as late in the year as we did last time.

But our opponents aren't official ready yet. How can we possibly take the time to do proper research and planning during the Easter holidays? Shall we plan for 2 opponents?

ID/TFFS huh? I think it's very likely you'll face Tffs, they do look to have enough wins to qualify
Leehar is right, it appears TFFS have 22 confirmed wins at this point and all they need is 21. They for sure have 20 and the tiebreaker game will be a win for them.

Hmmm. The score wasn't correctly updated in the official thread so one of the TFFS-wins wasn't counted. I suppose it's only a matter of time then. The World 2.1 game will give them win number 21.
Chuuck? They definetly doesn't have 22 confirmed wins unless there are more errors in the first post. I counted 20-17 in finished games, and I have been counting a few times now.
Any games ongoing over the Bunny Day weekend will be to the advantage of AoC, as I believe aaronvollrath has made it mandatory that vicmasters cover the entire clan's turns over that holiday.

the probability of me agreeing to that would tend towards zero. actually, it would be 0. imagine if you will the scenario of vicmasters taking our turns; we might as well declare them victors as vicmasters taking all turns would be pretty much giving them the overall win...
good thing i am atheist and don't believe in the easter bunny and won't be preoccupied with looking for any easter baskets or eggs...
also, the series is not yet over. i was in a trips game with beeps and jakevv once and we were up 22 armies on the australia map and lost.... as an aside, it was no spoils...

Every time you bring this up it is like rubbing salt into an open fantastic foreskin wound.

Can you do us all a favor and never use that phrase again?
