also Major FOS Karel for not announcing L-1. If you join a bandwagon you should know about the situation!

For the sake of keeping the right focus, I'll address this. I was aware that it was L-1, as everybody on the wagon I assume.
It didn't cross my mind to announce it, because my intention was to get the lynch done, not getting a claim or put pressure on. After all, the claim was pretty clear :)

As for what to do now, if we were to lynch one of the claimed Sun Gods, blake makes the most sense. His Vanilla Townie-investigation means either a dumb lie, or, as saf explained, that he is the naive, invaluable Sun God.
I'll consider my vote tonight, when I have an actual computer (instead of phone) to read on.

If we are all believing haggis claim, and that he isnt scum....... why are we not trusting his investigation? he investigated kwanton and he came up scum....

At the end of the day.... we lynch kwanton... he comes up town we know haggis is lying... we lynch haggis. kwanton comes up scum its likely that blake will also be scum as they were teaming up against haggis.

Not necessarily, I agree that the theory of 3 cops, 1 sane, 1 insane, and 1 naive makes sense. Doesn't overpower town too much. In fact, if one turned up town, it would make this theory stronger not weaker.

Yes but we are still missing the 4th one, the paranoid one. Highly unlikely that he will be missing. And yes I would push a no lynch today with all these cops able to investigate.
Haggis investigated kwan and got scum
Blake investigated haggis and got vanilla townie
Kwan investigated safari and got town

If a 4th cop doesn't claim I'd lynch kwan on the basis that he claimed last and has a guilty report on him.

I am requesting to be replaced.

What the hell is this pagan sun god ritual stuff?

That is not what I signed up for.

I signed up to play a game of mafia. What is with this role?

I'm sorry Victor, I wanted to support your game, but this sun god stuff is too weird for me.

As I am studying to be a minister, I can not morally participate in this game.

Perhaps you will reconsider as Sun God is just the name of the role, not an actual deity. Much like Mafia Goon is the name of a role, not an actual person. This is a work of fiction here. I am fairly confident that everyone realizes they are not actually Sun Gods. I don't see any mention of the word ritual until your post. Would you prefer if we referred to it as Sun god? The dictionary claims that a lowercase g can be used to distinguish between the Abrahamic God and the variety of other gods that have been worshipped historically through different cultures.

Because I think we're assuming haggis is the insane cop. I.e. innocent people come up guilty and guilty people come up innocent. Still a very useful role if you figure it out quickly.

Also, I just want to point out that I thought Post Apoc was much more "pagan" in the sense of the whole Scientologist/Christian Cult angle. Sun god seems much more tame in comparison.

Agreed. Just because I'm a math teacher, doesn't mean I can't direct a school play, and just because a you're studying to be a minister doesn't mean you can't listen to hard rock, or read Darwin's Origin of Species, or even play a mafia member that pretend-kills people. If you still want to be replaced, that's fine, but realize that it is by no means sacrilege to play a game that involves a theoretically pagan god, or go to one of Shakespeare's plays that involve pagan gods. Just because you're a woman of God, doesn't mean there's a strict code you now have to follow... Anywho, we can talk about this in private. Continue with the game, please. Deadline is tonight (I think).

Why do we think haggis is insane again? I've only ever seen insane in fircoal's old mafias. The way I see it, we have paranoid/naive/sane.

Insane, sane and naive has a nicer ring to it though. Paranoid thinks everyone is scum I am assuming? That would mean the town has 2 useless roles as both naive and paranoid are useless. Which would make sense if the mafia don't have a kill in order to balance things. That's an interesting setup - nobody is Vanilla, but nobody is very powerful either. Anyways, this is all just random muttering and speculating. I don't know what to make of the Sun god situation. I think the Hank idea is the soundest and I will stick to it.

That doesn't mean that firth and drab don't have a good point also though (I am not sure the syntax quite works here, but as long as you get the idea, it's fine).

From a strictly deadline standpoint, I strongly believe dead weight needs to be gotten rid of. I'm not convinced blake is scum, merely naive. And if he's naive, he at least can contribute town votes and provide an extra body against LyLo. Hank won't provide votes to get lynches. Sticking with that.

A brilliant defense Hank. You are proving your worth and proving exactly why we shouldn't lynch you. With profound commentary coming on an almost daily basis, I am left with no choice but to unvote.

+1, great sarcasm. Seriously, you join a game with a hard deadline, expect to be active or be replaced. Or lynched if the first two don't happen. We cannot afford skimming and random voting.

I understand now what COULD be the setup with the cops. But I don't understand the lack of suspicion about the whole thing. It also seems that no lynches are actually good in this game, so investigations can be done. Of course, maybe the mafia need to 'charge up' their NK.

I don't get how in every single game, there's someone trying to claim that skipping to night can be good for town. I mean, damn, our most powerful skill is daykill, we better use it or nightkills will come.

Of course, investigating can help in figuring out daycases, but we better at least use our skill. I say hank is a pretty good bet at this point... The investigating of sun gods wont give crucial clues on him anyways, and hes either pretty dumb or intensely scummy.

vote hank

Also what is this vioiet crap now. Unless her role involves involuntary-lovemaking-to-dead-peoples'-eyeballs, theres no reason to talk crap about morals and whatnot.
Basically, if you sign up to play, play.

All in all, I'm pretty pissed.
