Now that Hawaii 5-O is back on TV, the wife is now nagging me to go back to Oahu.

I am amazed by the different landscapes here. There are 13 different types of "weather" regions on this planet...the Big Island alone has 11 of those! No antarctic and no "constantly cold" region like parts of Canada. Other than that...everything. Desert, volcanoes, lush rain forest, plain like areas...it is amazing. Hell, one side of the island gets 300 in of rain per year. The other gets 4 inches per year! And we are only talking about 30 miles or so. Just amazing.
