If I was going to make one for a predict the winner challenge I would have less upsets but the upsets I projected I see as a real possibility and I really do think empire has a great chance to win. I also do most of my cc-ing under heavy alcohol influence so... :D

32-28

It's close but empire squeaks it out.

Alright who's next on prediction row?

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?hl= ... l=en#gid=0, you can download the bracket from here, now everyone shouldn't have to make their own versions of it :P

I'll bite, I basically made my predictions already. I really think that most of the seedings of matchups near each other are correct, I only picked 3 upsets (DB over BPB, LoW over TSM, and TOFU over THOTA), and all of them are only separated by 1 seed
https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key ... C8nA#gid=0
my watchlist:
13 Myth v 20 AFoS (I've seen very little, if any, of AFoS in wars)
16 BPB v 17 DB
24 TFFS and 28 OSA (don't think either can win, but both are grossly underseeded imo and I want to see how many games they can win against top 10 clans)

7 Empire v 10 Nemesis (I really wanted to pick both clans here, they're both on a roll in terms of full challenges)
6 IA v 11 FOED
5 LoW v 12 Legion
any "cinderella" team

all quarters, semis, and final

Are you crazy - Empire win over us? Pffftt...

All in all, I like the predictions - definitely a good try.
But... It was so artistically done.

reptile: nothing against IA but i love the foed over IA pick call it the 12v5 of the conquerors cup. Unfortunately your homer pick of you guys making it to the finals isn't that far of a stretch overall a solid bracket. Wouldn't be at all surprised if yours were proven to be true

I think my favorite thing about this event is how it lines up with college basketballs march madness bracket and how it has evolved into a similar bracket structure.

Thanks Shocked, I love IA and think they are EASILY a top 5 clan, i am just expecting FOED to make a splash soon, why not now.

KoRT beat Empire (Empire was seeded higher at the time, KoRT is now ranked higher), The Legion beat ID.

Nemesis came within 1 game of upsetting number 1 seed THOTA and the Legion took TOFU down to the wire if I remember correctly.

If I'm showing my dumb blonde with this q, so be it:

What is the difference between round 1 and round 2 of the play-in games?

Is round 1, higher-rank-clan Home games and round 2, lower-rank-clan home games?

OR

Will the play-in starts be staggered?

Do you mean batch 1 and batch 2? I think the difference is only the existence of an extra game in one of those 2 batches.

Games are to be sent in batches of 20. Round 1 will be the first 20 games (plus the one neutral game) and round 2 will be the second 20 games. In each round, each clan sends 10 games of their choice but they are encourage to send the quads in the first round to speed along the entire tournament so we don't have to wait on long quads games in the 2nd round.

25-15, not that close to the wire I must say. But the start was tough, yeah.

I am sorry to make such a libelous comment about your good clan. My memory of all of the wars escaped me, I just remember it looking close for a while.
